Lisa is very experienced and super talented. A lot of designers I saw do the same thing over and over again, you are hiring for a certain style. Lisa can work with whatever style you want - I told her what I was looking for, I didn't want an overly "decorated" look as I live up in the mountains but I wanted something beautiful, casual and lounge-y for all my guests and myself to enjoy. She hit it out of the park. Her creativity and ability to put pieces together (I tend to fall in love with a piece and try to stuff it in somewhere and she'd explain to me why it wouldn't work) is amazing, I get SO MANY compliments on various things in my house, the wallpaper, the table, pillows, rug, etc. She's Type A and reliable, she itemizes everything, she understands I don't have the budget for everything to be super expensive and high-end (she found some incredible vintage bargains that again, i get compliments on all the time). If you have a vision, no matter how different it is from HER style, she can work with you. I had almost no time so she made it easy by pinning ideas on a pinterest board, I could put my comments, likes and dislikes than we'd occasionally get together and she'd start pulling together her vision. I gave her a key to my place so she took care of all the meetings with painters, etc. and I was traveling so much, she met the furniture deliverers and I came home to a gorgeous, furnished home! On top of everything else, it was so much fun working with her! She'll push you to go out of your comfort zone but she'll also listen if you have really strong opinions - a great person to collaborate with for sure. I've seen other people spend a lot of money on various designers and I have to say, I feel like I go the BEST with Lisa. She's also great with accessories.
