> SOOO professional and knowledgeable. Wonderful sense of design and placement. All their tradespeople are polite, respectful and friendly. They clean up and organize every work day. They are efficient and come when they say ON TIME-yeah! Ken, Sue and Anthony are all flexible and cooperative. I'm so glad I found them and only wish I had found them years ago. Oh yeah, their pricing is very reasonable.

**★★★★★ — Craig McGregor, Dec. 2023**

> We hired Ken and his team to transform a living room and dining room into a new master suite to accommodate my mother's needs as a new amputee. From the initial contact, Ken understood the sense of urgency to the projected as we worked to get my mom out of rehab and home. They quickly developed plans and began demo. Ken personally guided us through the selection process and explained all of the accessible features he would include to support any and all equipment that would be required for my mom's future needs.
>
> Unfortunately, shortly into the project, my mom passed away and the project quickly turned to returning the space to the original design and finishes. Ken continued to push with the project, knowing that getting the space back to normal was an important part of our family's needs. The final product is exactly what we needed.
>
> Ken and team's dedication, professionalism and craftsmanship are excellent. Being in the remodeling business myself, I understand and recognize how difficult and emotional remodeling can be. Artistic Renovations exceeded all expectations, especially given the incredibly difficult circumstances.
>
> Our experience with Artist Renovations was excellent and I recommend Ken and team.

**★★★★★ — Colleen Kennedy-Schroeder, May 2020**

> We hired Ken and Artistic Renovations for our kitchen remodel. The whole experience was wonderful from shopping and planning to demolition and remodel. Everyone who worked on our kitchen was professional, kind and had a true skill in their craft. Everyday we still look at our kitchen with joy and gratitude. We look forward to working with them again for our bathrooms.

> Ken's team remodeled my kitchen. What I liked most about his crew was their friendly, family-like approach. I felt comfortable asking them questions and respected their experience and expertise in their work. They did exactly what we wanted. It turned out so beautiful!! I absolutely love my new tile floor! The cabinets look beautiful and the granite is perfect. Everyone was respectful of our time and kept the project moving forward without too many delays. I highly recommend Artistic Renovations for any home remodeling project.

**★★★★★ — Mark Dymidowski, Aug. 2019**

> Ken and his staff are fantastic. I hired them to do a major renovation of my Kitchen (including moving a load bearing wall) Dining Room and Living Room. The out come was fantastic. ken's design ideas were spot on. I was so happy I hired them to do a complete exterior make over which involved removing original siding and installing 3 different styles of siding to create a dramatic look. Again awesome job.
> Once I recoupe some money I will be hiring for one more renovation of the Master Bath. Cant wait to see what Ken comes up with for there.
> Great Job Artistic Renovations!!!!

**★★★★★ — Beth & Tom Keir, Aug. 2018**

> We are fans of Artistic Renovations of Ohio after completion of a major kitchen renovation. The guidance and advice offered by Ken as we planned the project was invaluable! He offered ideas and configurations tailored to our space and needs. The AR team (led by Ken) were at our side throughout design concept, choice of materials, installation, and completion. The plan was implemented with skill, craftsmanship, and professionalism - AND within timeline and budget! Contractors were at our home every day working a full day with care for our project, our home, and our living space. All members of the AR team are polite, clean, and customer oriented, as all inquiries are immediately addressed. It is obvious that customer satisfaction is a goal for Artistic Renovations. When, as customers, we were comfortable and confident with and admired the work of these craftsmen, we know we made the right choice!

**★★★★★ — Lynda Kovach, Sept. 2017**

> We bought a 1952 house that needed major renovation. The fireplace, first level bathroom, and kitchen were totally gutted and replaced. Plus a variety of rooms painted and basement rooms sectioned off. The entrance to our house was dark and uninviting. Artistic Renovations was able to make our entrance an open, welcoming invitation to our home that is now warm, updated, and beautiful. Ken and his expert contractors truly are craftsmen for they helped us achieve our vision for our home with ease. From designing a new kitchen that originally did not have a pantry to choosing granite, tile, and cabinets Ken was with us all the way. What a great, talented company to work with. Highly recommended!

**★★★★★ — Deb Romeo, June 2017**

> Worked with Ken on a complete kitchen remodel and could not be happier! We have complete confidence in Ken and realized that he would not let us make a mistake. He made the process of picking out everything very stress free and it was easy to see how everything would go together. He was very patient with all of my questions and concerns about the process. His "crew" was a pleasure to have in our home. They were very personable and took the time to explain everything. They were very respectful of our house and our dog. I never hesitated a moment to leave the house while they were there. We just stand and admire our new kitchen everyday! We can barely remember what the old kitchen looked like! We're already talking to Ken about our bathroom remodel!

**★★★★★ — Kathy Masterson, May 2017**

> I hired Artistic Reno to remodel my kitchen after a plumbing issue in my upstairs bathroom, flooded the kitchen down below. I had recently purchased the 96 year old home and had planned to eventually remodel the kitchen. When the timeline was speed up due to the unfortunate mishap...I was very happy I called on the professional team at Artistic Reno. Dealing with a flood and a kitchen remodel can be very stressful but not with this team, they got me through it smooth and steady. I truly appreciated Ken's extensive knowledge of old homes and his eye for today's trends he helped me create the prefect kitchen for my home. It is truly my favorite space in the house and makes me smile every day! I can't wait for my next project!

**★★★★★ — Deb Ferenc, April 2017**

> Artistic Renovations remodeled our kitchen last year. After a year I STILL stand there with my husband in awe that THIS IS OUR KITCHEN? From the design to the craftsmanship, every aspect is superb. The staff was very professional and a delight to work with each day and we would HIGHLY recommend Artistic Renovations for your next remodeling project. You better book them fast, we are talking about our Master Bath!

**★★★★★ — Faye Bass, March 2017**

> After meeting with several contractors to work on our project of a complete renovation of a 25 year old condo with no success, I came across Artistic Renovations in an ad in a local paper. The first time I met with Ken Perrin (owner), I knew he was the perfect person for the job. He is experienced and licensed in renovating. He is communicative, organized, creative and every suggestion or idea of mine was given much consideration. He definitely listens to the client's wants and needs, but he has great style and ideas to bring to the job as well.
>
> His suppliers and workmen are top-notch...experienced, timely and respectful of your home. At the end of every day, the workmen cleaned up the area, even though we were not living in the home while the renovation was going on. His wife, Sue, keeps the records and schedules with precision.
>
> Since every inch of the condo was being redone: windows, doors, trim, plumbing, electrical, bathrooms, kitchen, basement finishing, flooring, cabinets...it felt like a "build", not a renovation. All of the custom cabinets came out beautiful, with details that make them truly functional but also like custom furniture.
>
> Ken responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had and definitely guided the process along to a smooth ending. All details were handled with competence and clear communication.
>
> My "new" home came out fabulous and I couldn't have brought my vision to life without Ken. We are planning an addition, and I can't wait to continue working with Ken.

**★★★★★ — Katee Murphy, Dec. 2016**

> We had a great experience working with Artistic Renovations. They made everything so easy from taking us shopping for materials and fixtures to tastefully and reasonably addressing any issues that came up in the renovation of our 100 year old home. They assisted with the design and really completed our vision of a beautiful home. We plan to work with them again for future projects. A great company with a professional and friendly team!

**★★★★★ — Lori Waschak, Nov. 2016**

> Artistic Renovations gutted and replaced our master bathroom, with which we are thoroughly pleased. This company is extremely easy to work with from giving an accurate estimate to carefully attending to every last detail. Each person who worked on our bathroom was extremely courteous and conscientious, especially given the confined space and our young children. One of the things I appreciate most about working with Ken is that he helped me stay within budget, but encouraged me to invest in higher quality materials wherever prudent. Additionally, I never felt rushed to make a decision, but rather my satisfaction was always of highest priority. Ken and his wife Sue were always easy to reach by email, text, and phone.
>
> The result is a bathroom we love. The work is high quality and thorough and the look is just what we wanted. We have since begun a kitchen project with Artistic Renovations and are confident we will be just as pleased in the end. We haven't met anyone as happy with their contractors as we are with Artistic Renovations. It is great to know that any projects we undertake in the future will be handled by people we trust!

**★★★★★ — dianelavin, March 2016**

> I hired Ken Perrin of Artistic Renovations after interviewing several contractors. Ken has a good eye for design and brings a portfolio of experience in every kind of setting and all levels of renovation. I loved working with him and his crew, and I want to give special credit to them. Ken's painters, plumbers, craftsmen, electricians, woodworkers, tilers, sanders, refinishers, every single person who came to our house was professional, quiet, personable, respectful, and detail oriented. They never assumed what I wanted and always checked in with me, as did Ken on almost a daily basis. Even when we were out of the country, Ken emailed me with updates and photos. The crew cleaned up after every days' work. Even as I changed my mind, which happens as you see the actual rooms take shape, the crew remained flexible and open. I came to value their eye, see what they saw, and benefit from their years of experience as we made final decisions. The results are stunning and I loved being part of the team!
> Ken provided guidance for decision making and timing throughout the process. I asked him at the start what derails a project and he said that often the work gets off schedule because the homeowner cannot choose the materials or appliances early enough in the process. I worked with Ken to avoid that and we were able to make many decisions early on, saving others once the vision of the project began to unfold.
> I also anticipated, as should everyone, some surprises and when they appeared, Ken guided me and the crew through them with minimal disruption. This included finding asbestos and dealing with it, discovering an incomplete fireplace once the mantel was removed, and needing to upgrade some of the electrical system. I never felt out of the loop, unprepared or shocked, and I was really pleased as the project maintained its course.
> This was not an inexpensive remodeling. We worked on three of our four levels, including sanding all floors, painting throughout, creation of a master bath, renovating closets, and building a dance studio in the basement. Once we catch our breaths, I want to hire Artistic Renovations to help us with the third floor and the outside of the house! I recommend them highly.

> Artistic renovations of Ohio were hired to completely alter and renovate our master bath. Artistic was very knowledgable and professional throughout the project. Their valued input in planning and coordinating the numerous steps required to keep the intense project on task and meet a reasonable completion date was much appreciated. The various tradesmen associated with Artistic Renovations were very qualified, professional, detail oriented, approachable, excellent craftsmen, courteous and knowledgeable. We asked for a "Spa Like" master bath at a reasonable price, and that is exactly what they delivered! We couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome ! Ken's individual artistic ability was greatly utilized through out the process from cabinet style and material color and substance to paint color ! Great job Artistic Renovations of Ohio . Thank You.

**★★★★★ — Marianne Tletski, March 2016**

> I had artistic renovations remodel my 20 year old kitchen.. It included new granite countertops, ceramic backsplash , new cabinet handles, lighting, all new appliances and they even installed a pot and pan rack for me. They also painted the ceilings and walls. Ken and his team were excellent. The color palette was spot on and they went out of their way to ensure I was happy. They even worked weekends to make sure the job was completed by my deadline for a house party I was having . I am pleased beyond words and have recommended them to all my family and friends.

**★★★★★ — deere1010, March 2016**

> My house has beautiful stonework on the outside, and a walk out basement, and sits on 30+ acres of wooded and ravined property, but on the inside my house had the appearance of a Boy Scout Camp dormitory. Tiny rooms split up the floor plan throughout, and it was almost impossible to view the beautiful outdoor scenery from within. The house had been built in the 70's by two brothers who just built as they went along without any clear plans. There was improper drainage around the house, and the basement walls were shifting. Something needed to be done quickly, and I decided I wanted it renovated instead of tearing it down and starting over. I contacted Ken Perrin from Artistic Renovations, and he brought his expertise into play. It was a huge project and involved fixing the foundation, moving the stairwell in the center of the house to the outside wall and building a dormer to house it, redistributing the weight that had been braced by the many walls dividing the house, pushing the back wall out to yield more room and creating a vaulted knotty pine ceiling in the living room, adding a new back deck and a new front entry way, and updating the electrical wiring and plumbing. Ken made it possible for me to continue living there during the entire project by working on half the house at a time and providing me with a useable bathroom in the basement while the others were being redone. The project is now almost complete, and the house is a real showplace. I am extremely satisfied with the results and highly recommend Artistic Renovations. The results are truly artistic.

**★★★★★ — Eric Carlson, June 2015**

> We've used Ken and his team at Artistic Renovations on two other jobs. First was a half bath, second was a full bath. Both of those redo's involved robbing space from closets or chimney cavities to expand the useful space within the bath. It was complicated work but turned out beautifully both times. When it came time to redo our kitchen there is no one else we would trust to take on the task but Ken. Again, spaces were completely reconfigured as we removed a wall separating the kitchen and dining room. All appliances and the sink were relocated. Windows were removed and/or expanded. The floor was releveled to transition seamlessly with the adjacent rooms. It was a lot of work and this nearly 100 year old home presented the Artistic Renovations team with many unanticipated challenges along the way. Each was dealt with in a manner that was not only sound from a construction standpoint but fair from a financial standpoint. We are thrilled with the finished product and recommend Artistic Renovations without reservation.

> Ken Perrin of Artistic Renovations made a wonderful first impression by being on time for our initial appointment. He listened thoughtfully while we described how we hoped to transform our small main bathroom into one that would include a free-standing shower, double sinks, and other improvements. In addition to the bathroom renovation, we wanted to enlarge our bedroom reach-in closet into a walk-in closet. He provided a quote for the work in a timely manner.
> Much of the work was done by individuals working directly with Ken. This work included the tear-down and framing, drywall installation, electrical, plumbing, painting, tiling, and frameless shower installation. These men were all very professional, arriving on time and quite courteous. They respected our time and valued our input. The tile installer was especially patient since I wanted the individual tiles laid according to my design.
> My husband and I wanted to be highly involved with choosing materials such as the granite, tile, and fixtures for the sinks, shower and tub and designing our cabinet and mirror. Ken respected our decision to use vendors with whom he did not usually work.
> Some additional unexpected work, such as a microlam header and the replacement of a waste drain, was thoroughly explained to us and our budget was adjusted accordingly.
> The new bathroom and bedroom closet evoke praise from all who see them. We are exceptionally pleased with Artistic Renovations. We had a wonderful experience working with Ken, Eric, Doug, Dan, Sue and all the others involved.

**★★★★★ — Shannon Wendland, March 2015**

> We used Artistic Renovations for our master bath remodel. Since my husband is in a wheelchair it was important to get something that could accommodate his needs, while still allowing the bathroom to be visually attractive as possible. We wanted to create a spa like feel that captured the style of our home but also needed to be critically aware of the nuances that we would need to address to make the space functionally safe and accommodating to ADA standards. Artistic Renovations exceeded our hopes. Our bathroom is beautiful and it is extremely functional and safe for my husband. The workers who came to our house were wonderful and talented. They were always friendly, helpful and accommodating to my husbands schedule and needs and never left the job site anything but completely clean and put back together. Truly they were more like family than workers on our home and they are welcome back anytime! Ken, the owner, was true to the budget - even though we added on to our "wish list" as the project progressed. He even went shopping with me to pick out tile and flooring - which was a great help and support. Honestly - if we ever do another project, Artistic Renovations will certainly be our first call.

> Ken from Artistic Renovations did a total renovation of our kitchen. He gave us a wonderful new layout as well as removing a wall to open up the space. From the choices Ken recommended to us to the finishing product we are extremely happy. He helped us through every step of the way. He has an eye for design and is readily available with any questions we had during our big reno. We have a larger space, better functionality and a sleek, new design. If we had to do it all over again we wouldn't choose anyone other than Artistic Renovations.

**★★★★★ — bmars3, Oct. 2014**

> Artistic Renovation just completed a remodel of our 24 year- old kitchen and laundry room and we couldn't be happier. The results are stunning, and there isn't one detail we would change. The craftsmanship is exceptional. From a computer station in the kitchen, to a dog bath in the laundry room, they worked to bring our vision to reality and created functional and practical spaces. Everyone that worked on our project was professional and pleasant. I'm pretty sure our 2 dogs are sad that they aren't here anymore. They all were flawless and helpful. Eric made sure that every aspect of the remodel was easy to maintain for years to come. He installed an easily accessible water filter and dryer vent, and a new quick and easy main shut-off valve for our water, along with making sure we knew how to maintain all the new features in our remodel. He even drilled extra holes in the dog bath nozzle so the spray was gentler for the dogs. Every detail was thought out for practicality. Eric's attention to detail brought our remodel to a whole new level. There are many companies that can install beautiful cabinets and fixtures. What makes Artistic Renovation special is the attention to detail and function. My kitchen isn't just beautiful, but it will be a kitchen that still functions and looks good years from now.

> Thank you so much, it has been truly a pleasure working with you both \[and the dogs - they will miss being outside all the time with the guys\] You had a clear vision of what you wanted and the results I have to admit are wonderful - tony will have the rest of the pictures and I will get you the copies - I really love the dog wash it is nicer than most bathrooms! Sue wants to stop over to see for herself.

> We are extremely pleased with the work that Ken and Artistic Renovations did at our home. They took a 75 year old outdated, cramped kitchen and transformed it into an open, beautiful space. Ken is very knowlegeable with kitchen design and flexible in his approach. Other contractors we evaluated were not so flexible. If a mistake was made, Ken immediately, without question, corrected the problem. There was no finger pointing or disagreeements. All of Ken's employees were professional, reliable and nice to work with as well. Most important is the finished product. We are so happy with the quality of the work and have received so many compliments from friends and family.

> Artistic Renovations was fantastic. Their people are trustworthy and dependable and they treat your home like it is their own. They also have a great sense for style and design as well functionality. They did not finish their project for me until I was fully satisfied.

> I hired Artistic Renovation in February 2013 to renovate a kitchen, a 1/2 bath my laundry room and my home office. Artistic also hired another company to sand and restain my hardwood floors in my living room and dining room. And they also hired another person to wall paper my dining room. They were in my house for well over a year and still did not complete the project. There were times when they didn't show up for weeks at a time which put them behind and they could not meet my deadline! My daughter was getting married in June 2014 and I wanted the house completed. It didn't happen. I had to hire another company to finish the jobs. I had many problems along the way that took forever to address or they didn't get addressed at all. My hardwood floor in my office was improperly installed according to the rep for the manufacturer of the floor. My tile floor in my hallway is uneven and has cracked and was never addressed. There are other things that Artistic didn't complete that the new company addressed and fixed. Also this project ended up costing WAY more than Ken quoted and his billing system is just awful! I could write a book!!
>
> In regards to the rep coming out to my house to check the wood floors in my office- Tom Stuewe from State Crest did in fact bring the rep for the hardwood floors to my house on May 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. The rep for the floors determined that the cause of the gaps in the wood floors were due to installation. I will take pictures and post them as there are still gaps in the floor boards to this day. Also to date my tile in my back foyer is cracking and is not level. I will also post pictures of the tile floor.

> See Brecksville - Timeless Kitchen Photos
> We began working with this client in early 02/2012 and after a site visit at their request a proposal was submitted on 09/2012. The owner and her son made changes to the contract and it went back and forth until the final start date of 05/09/2013. The project scope increased after this date adding additional work to the contract. Around 12/13/2013 we were completed less the punch list items. Some of these items were exterior items that needed to be completed in the spring. All items were completed per the contract.
>
> Everyone at Artistic Renovations strives for giving our clients the finest craftsmanship, but there are times that we go above and beyond and still cannot totally satisfy a client. The end result of this project is stunning and the photos are attached. See Brecksville Timeless Kitchen for more photos. Imagine our frustration being on a job and waiting two months or more for a customer to make a selection and blame Artistic Renovations for how long the job took.
>
> There were added extras that were completed \[but never paid for\] such as the balance of the utility room cabinets that we supplied and installed. The cabinet install was never paid. The utility room counter top was never selected or paid for by the owner. She would not meet Ken at the supplier to pick out the top and kept asking Ken to bring samples and none of them she liked. If she was not paying Artistic Renovations for these products and labor item over the base contract why would Artistic continue to work at her home? In addition, we installed the vanity in the ½ bath only to remove it because she did not like the one she purchased online. We painted several rooms twice or three times because she did not like the color. We did not charge her additional material and labor for the painting. Overage on the tile allowance was never paid as documented and agreed by her son. \[$ 3,485.46\]
>
> 1 – Wallpaper was added on the contract and Artistic Renovations painting crew (Lynne and Jim) installed the dining room. They could not install the wallpaper in the living room until the next weekend. Even though she made a point that she loved their work she decided to hire someone else to complete the living room. We completed the dining room 12/05/13 this had no delay on her June 2014 family wedding.
>
> 2- The hardwood floor was installed per the manufactures instruction in her office and was tight. She was very pleased with the install and we moved all her furniture back into the room. Over time there were small areas that the floor opened up \[as all hardwood floors do\]. All manufactures do not warranty the wood from natural movement due to the moisture content in the home and seasonal changes. The manufacture instructed us to wait until June for the wood to return to normal and stated that the past winter was the worse they have experienced and recommended that the homeowner add a humidifier for the winter months. The owner was to call us in June to give us an update and we never heard from her so we assumed the floor returned back as the manufacture stated. No one from the manufacture has been out to see the floor.
>
> 3 - Regarding bookkeeping, we use the same accounting program as other businesses. All checks are copied and deposited individually to our bank account for an audit trail, we provide a spreadsheet that list the invoice number the amount due, the amount paid, check number and date the payment was made. Sometimes it can get confusing when a customer does not pay the total invoice amount or combines several invoices in one check. We update the spreadsheet throughout the project to make sure the customer and Artistic Renovations figures agree. We reviewed the invoices and payments with her and her son agreed that all items balanced. Sue’s bookkeeping experience is 13 years in banking industry and 30 years in the building industry.

> We have hired Artistic Renovations over the years for various projects in our home, in fact they built our home over 20 years ago. We knew we wanted an open floor plan for our new kitchen but we were not sure how to accomplish this because of the load bearing walls that would need to be removed.
> Ken designed the kitchen with the structural changes needed and we love the outcome. Now it is such a joy to entertain in our new kitchen. The guys were all great Matt, Doug, Eric, Bobby; they kept the area clean and were very helpful and respectful in accommodating anything we wanted to change.
> Ken helped us through the selection process and we love the new look.
> We highly recommend them for any size project .Their team will capture your vision and made it a reality.

> Complete bathroom renovation from joists to studs. Was able to provide all our requested ideas. Provided respectfull feedback when some ideas just wouldn't work or would add significant additon cost. Stayed within projected budget. The zero curb shower entrance is especially appreciated. Workmanship excellent at every point. Have relatives and family friends in the trades and all highly approve of all aspects of work.
>
> Will use them again - when we get the money.
> UPDATE: 02 May 2017. Any remodel can look good after 4 months, but what about after nearly 4 years? Well, still looks good and functions ever better.Detached, single family, Craftsman bungalow, built in 1923, only bathroom on main floor, no major reno only various mods over the decades (pink plastic tile anyone?). Fundamental: everything had to remain within the footprint of the original room.
> Since total remodel only 3 minor issues emerged. Shower door out of alignment, grout leak in shower, loose vanity hotwater handle. All 3 fixed promptly, on my schedule, with professional attitude and no cost to us.
> Planning and selecting design elements went very smoothly; designer and my wife exchanged ideas and concepts to arrive at desired effect (I nodded wisely). We made only one major customer mistake, "we forgot, could you make this one little addition?". It was an extendable, lighted make up mirror next to cabinet mirror. We bought the mirror and they installed it without problem and no additional cost. They do not like to use elements that is not sourced from them so as to control quality. They made 2 exceptions: we had installed a new, upgraded toilet only 4 months previously and they agreed reuse it. The grab bar in the shower was of an larger, industrial design we did not like. They agreed to use a smaller unit we purchased elsewhere. We appreciated their flexibility.
> They talked us out of using a rainhead ceiling fixture. We still have 2 shower heads and it saved us considerable funds (everything you see on TV does not necessarily belong in your design). They convinced us to use a detachable shower head with hose that was placed lower on the wall then usual. This allowed the wand to be extended further when using the bench (also their idea) at the opposite end of the shower. We have found this to a very usable feature.
> Perhaps the most desirable feature of the shower installation is the no curb threshold. It was a design feature no other company even proposed, everyone who sees it is impressed, and every time anyone uses it appreciates it (and all our collective toes). When we watch bathroom remodels on TV and don't see this feature, we can only wonder-WHY?
> The custom Amish vanity and cabinet are superb both in design and function.
> We asked and they agreed to install faucets in wall. This saved precious square inches of countertop space and makes cleanup easier.
> The original hotwater radiator was very effective but a gross waste of space. They replaced it with an effective hotwater, toekick heater beneath the vanity.
> Installed heated floor (yes, yes, and yes-Cleveland winters)
> My one contribution (pocket door). Only remaining item from total gut job was original heavy wooden swing entry door. I asked if this door could be converted into a pocket door to save space. They were only company who gave certain yes to concept. It was an idea that has worked very well (thank you Nicole Curtis).
> Working with them was excellent. They kept us from ideas that were expensive and stupid but were able to incorporate ideas that were worthy. The result was an entirely satisfactory project.

> There is a distinct difference between commonplace construction and work that is done by artisans. Ken uses building practices that surpass minimum code, followed by style and detail that most contractors cannot offer. There was not a single time I was told my ideas could not be brought to life. Instead, Ken and his guys exceeded my expectations.
>
> The working relationship with Ken and Sue was affable and straightforward. Likewise the tradesmen were all very polite and enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend Artistic Renovations to those who understand the value in hiring a first-rate contractor.

> I hired artistic renovations to remodel my kitchen. Ken was the fourth contractor I met with. I had fake angled walls that I wanted gone and squared off. I was told by the three prior contractors that they were there for a reason and most likely impossible to move what was behind the walls. The first thing Ken said when he walked into my kitchen was "get rid of the angles," which he did with no problems. Ken had great advice and steered me in the right direction when I was about to make a bad selection. I never had any problems with communication. There was never a time I called Sue that she didn't answer. She is very personable, helpful and reassuring. Ken always returned my calls or texts within an hour. The crew, Eric, Matt and Bob were always professional, helpful and great to work with. They did an amazing job. The outcome of my kitchen is truly beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend artistic renovations.

> We hired Artistc Renovations to update our kitchen and install hardwood floors in living room, dining room and hall. Ken was vey flexable meeting with us, meeting in the evening and on weekends. The demo was done in 3 days and the workers even cleaned the dust that fell to our basement . Even though the project was not completed on the original time line, Ken and the crew kept us updated and we were able to add a few more projects to the original plan. We were so happy with the final results, we hired them to remodel or bathroom. We have recommend Artistic Renovations to our family and friends.

> I hired Artistic Renovations to remodel my parents kitchen and repair other damage that resulted from a broken pipe that saturated the cabinetry and floor. The project included the removal of old cabinets and floor and installation of new cabinets and flooring as well as upgrading of the entire kitchen. Ken worked with my parents and made suggestions as to what would work and look best. The result was amazing and we could not be happier. Throughout the project Ken's workers were cordial and professional and always cleaned up after they were done. Ken visited regularly to insure that everything was progressing and that my parents were satisfied and treated them as his own. Other contractors who bid this project only wanted to go half-way, take the money and run. Ken turned a disaster into gem that will bring pleasure to my parents for many years to come. I highly recommend Artistic Renovations to anybody looking for a progressive, experienced professional that will delivery amazing results that exceed ones expectations.

> Had a horrible experience with Artistic Renovations. They did a bathroom for us and quoted a 4-6 week time frame that took 6 months. Communication was aweful, end result was ok. Over charged for some items and never finished the punch list at the end of the project. I would avoid at all costs.

**Comment from Artistic Renovations of Ohio LLC:**

> I am sorry this client feels this way -. The project was not just a bathroom we created a bathroom out of a bedroom and had to add the plumbing from the underground to the second floor. They also added structural changes in the kitchen. We have not been contacted about any unfinshed items....I will contact the owners to see what the issues are. At the time we finished they loved the new bathroom and I was never contacted on open issues - if we were they would have been addressed.

## Community Q&A

**Q: How do you reach the controls on upper dryer?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Very creative, I like it. But how do you reach the controls on the top appliance?

A: Hi thanks for asking. The top controls are very easy to work the young lady is 5' 6" and reaches them nicely. the photo makes it look taller than it is.

**Q: Towel Rack** *(in Photo Questions)*

Would love to know where this came from and where I might be able to buy it? Thanks

A: we purchased this from Welker McKee in Cleveland Ohio they are a plumbing supplier

**Q: What was used for the countertop?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What kind of quartz is this?

A: thanks for asking it came from Mont Granite and MArble out of Solon Ohio they have many locations - its Mont Quartz Carra

**Q: where was the rug purchased? brand? Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: i am sorry we did not purchase it the client had it

**Q: Quartz w/o laminated edge, scribe to cover plywood, Pro opinion needed** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Our builder installed our quartz countertop (3cm) on top of plywood for our kitchen cabinets & island. We had no doubt we'll get the laminated edge finish but just found out they'll just cover the exposed plywood w/scribe molding (white). Their model homes had quartz countertop (2cm) w/laminated edge, didn't tell us we won't be getting that . Tried to explain how this is not only the UGLIEST finish, no one, not at Home Depot or any fabricators around here install the countertop this way not to mention any designers I see online. I'm so angry and depressed after investing a lot in cabinet upgrades but builder's attitude is very dismissive, told me "Nobody ever complained about this" and made me feel like I'm the crazy unreasonable one. I don't care if anyone complained or not, I believe you should inform your customer what's included and what's NOT specially their model homes had the laminated finish. I feel like I'm in a twilight zone, talking to a stone age people asking for something that should've been a standard practice. I wouldn't have minded if they had installed this 3cm directly on the cabinets like most do but they said they need to install over plywood for cabinet manufacturer's warranty. I seriously have not seen this kind of installation. What do you think? (they will install white scribe molding over the plywood)

A: no wood under the top make them redo - very unprofessional

**Q: where was the stainless steel slab purchased?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: hi
we custom made it in our shop
