Not only did she provide a gorgeous back yard with new landscaping, irrigation, pavement, lighting, a fire pit(!) hooked up to its own supply of gas (no tanks to deal with!), a sectional surrounding that fabulous fire pit, a dining area for ten, and recommendations throughout that would keep the cost reasonable; she and the team also provide a maintenance service that keeps me from resenting the responsibilities of home ownership. On top of that, I casually mentioned the wet crawlspace and dampness inside my home and that I'd tried unsuccessfully to address it through a heating/ventilation/air conditioning expert. Beth recommended that they install a French drain surrounding much of the house to redirect any rainwater that approaches the house to a basin before, upon reaching its capacity, it continues to the street. A year later, the crawl space has been described as "dry as a bone." So she solved the biggest problem with the house for a very reasonable price. I feel like I have a new home--one that feels healthy and gorgeous. Thank you, Beth. During the California drought, like many other homeowners, I wanted to get rid of my front lawn and put in some sort of garden. I wasn’t particular about the end result. Any old drought-resistant plants would have been fine. I mainly wanted to save water. I hired Beth based on the knowledge she demonstrated and her obvious enthusiasm for what she does. Her cost estimate was reasonable and within my budget, and her design drawing looked impressive, so I went ahead with the project. My front garden, when finished, turned out to be far, far better than anything I ever imagined. There are several other front gardens on my block (not designed by Beth), but everyone tells me that mine is the handsomest and best designed. I fully agree, and I couldn’t be more delighted with it.
