Born and raised in New York , he worked his way through college. Joseph had an early interest in working with people, and earned his degree in Social Psychology from the State University of New York at Saratoga Springs NY. His love for creativity and helping people in his local community with various architectural and interior design planning and color and lighting coordination lead him to pursue higher education in the interior design field thereby earning a degree in Interior Design.

in 1985 Joseph Anthony re-located to Delaware, where his Interior Design business took off at the beach resort area, and expanded throughout the state and into Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Design Debate: Are you FOR or AGAINST hanging a TV over a fireplace?** *(in Polls)*

Some designers say go for it; others say no way. Which side of history are you on?

A: I agree with Tamara that due to viewing angles, your neck will suffer. I also agree that the focal points are toyed with a bit, depending on the height of the mantle and fireplace opening. Both have good points about heights, but not all fireplaces are horizontal in configuration. Another big concern for me is "Electronics and HEAT" do not get along! I agree that it is ultimately the client's choice, but it is our duty tp provided the pros and cons.

How far away is the projecter and what brand is it? Also how far away from the screen are the front row of seats

A: The projector (Sony) and front row are 10 feet from screen. This is a minimum.

**Q: What are the dimensions of this room, and the seating heights?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'd like to see how much lower the first row is than the second row, and how many feet away that first row is?  Also, how big is the screen? Thank you so much!

A: Room is 24' X 26'. The seat height is 42" wall-hugger. They take up a 39" footprint when reclined. The drop from row two to row one is approx. 18" and steps down. There are 24" between rows. Screen size is 104" diagonal.

Approx. how long will it take to install a theater?

A: I would say from start to finish it will take approximately four weeks, having the necessary materials on hand for installation. The design process, before the building begins takes about two weeks. Call

A: This floor is Limestone which has three coats of sealer.
