Steven was present at the initial meeting. He came to our home before our project started. I found him to be enjoyable to work with. From there- I can't remember ever seeing him again. We were passed on to another designer. Fair enough but lots of mistakes. I don't believe Steven knows how many mistakes were made on our project. My wife and I were willing to overlook most of them. The electrical and plumbing were problems for our designer. Things that should not happen when you choose to work with a designer of this caliber. I purchased new stereo equipment (which I did not otherwise need) because they suggested a unit for my den that didn't fit anything. It was not meant to hold equipment. But that's what they suggested and put there (I ate the bill for new stereo equipment that would fit) The new stuff is currently overheating in the unit they suggested. You can't even get to it. Next, in our living room, we purchased "the best" cabinet ready ice maker to go into a beautiful unit that they built and designed. It was broken from day one, was removed from my house to be repaired for weeks and has never worked properly. It is more than 2 years later and I have never been able to use it. It is loud as can be! They have told us it's not maintained correctly?! Recently we were told that the plumbing is wrong and the ice maker needs to be a few inches from the wall. Check out the picture below. So now we have an ice maker sticking out of our $30,000 wall unit. I would bet Steven doesn't even know his designer recommended a unit they say should have an exposed bottom in the middle of a beautiful room they designed. My opinion is they are to big, he doesn't know his own projects. I welcome Steven G to come to our home and see the finished project he put his stamp on any time he would like. **Comment from Interiors by Steven G:** > It was disheartening to read this review as we were not aware that the client was unhappy with this unit. As the owner of the company you can rest assured I am aware of every single detail that goes on with every one of my team members, we address all issues and/or concerns our clients may have. Being unaware of the issues the client had we clearly were not able to resolve for them, the unit was installed in December of 2015 had we known that it did not meet their requirements we would have been able to exchange it out as it is a ready-made unit that we purchased on behalf of the client and provided the client with an email as to what it would accommodate, and at that time it did work for them, if changes were made to the equipment then that would obviously create a problem if not using the same specifications or close. In addition to extending life expectancy, maintaining a ceiling fan can help to avoid potential safety hazards as a result of faulty fans. Although ceiling fans are made to work for years and don’t require regular maintenance, they will need some at some point. If your ceiling fan has not been damaged, doing maintenance service is very easy. Below are some of the maintenance tasks that you can perform on your fan. Clean out the fan. Cleaning a ceiling fan should be done at least once a year. You, however, need to reach it first by standing on a stool or something elevating. Start by cleaning the blades with a brush and then use a damp cloth that has been dipped in soapy water to remove the remaining sticky stains. Leave the fan to dry on its own before using it again. You can easily find a fan brush from any home equipment store near your house. Also, you can vacuum out the motor as dust can accumulate on it and cause a fan to run slow. Tighten all screws. Ceiling fans are made of different parts that are put together using screws. While the fan is running, it generates small vibrations that loosen some of those screws. You can detect loose screws through a noisy or shaky fan. Simply use a screwdriver to tighten back those screws with a special focus on the fan, ceiling plate, and the light fixture – if available. Lubricate the fan. Some ceiling fans require periodic lubrication to operate smoothly. Use any light oil (similar to the oil used on a sewing machine), to fill the oil hole that is located on the top side of the motor. Fill this hole till the oil flows over and rinse the excess with a tissue or rag. Check for movement.It is important to check your ceiling fan for movements or wobbles. The center of the fan should not make any side movement while the fan is in operation. If it does, the fan needs to be balanced. You can use a fan balance kit to do this. Also, it is important to note that a faulty blade may cause a fan to wobble. Check to see if there are parts missing on blades. Lastly, it is important to check if there is any bent or warped blade. You can do this by removing all blades and place each on top of another. The blades should fit perfectly on top of another.
