**Q: Floor Paint question** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of floor paint did you use and what is the color?

A: Abby, to answer your question about the floor paint in the photo of the upstairs hallway in our Putney VT 1838 Greek Revival renovation: California water based floor paint, color "Turbulent Sea DE5803". Bedrooms are white, which I don't recommend for a busy family but looks great! Water-based floor paints have improved a lot in both appearance and durability in recent years, but if you want a traditional glossy and super-tough floor paint for high traffic areas ask your supplier about industrial oil-based coatings.

**Q: How do I credit the photographer?** *(in Photo Questions)*

May I use this photograph and how do I credit the work? I love fall colors and we will be building our final home in the next 2-3 years. However not in the south where we reside now and have for 35 years as a married couple. My husband is a native and I am originally from Toronto.

A: Thanks for asking! Depends on how you plan to use it- if just to print and carry to the store to pick your paints, consider this comment permission. If you plan to use it for marketing your business or to publish, please contact me about licensing and fees. Or take a vacation to Putney VT with your iphone or camera and I'll show you where to shoot the same scene! And of course, show you where we could build you a nice house with a lots of views of autumn foliage...
