> Working with Jared to build our new custom home was an absolute pleasure! Some of the best qualities of working with Jared were his attention to the details with each and every decision we made, his ability to help steer us in the right direction or give us ideas and choices when we were unsure of something, keeping the process moving forward with little delay and within the budget we set on and most importantly his communication with us was OUTSTANDING. He kept us informed every step of the building process, what to expect in the coming weeks of construction and always returned our calls or texts right away. He was always readily available to meet when we needed to go over construction decisions. If you are looking for a custom home builder then you can't go wrong with Jared Brown and Water Rock Homes.

**Comment from Water Rock Homes:**

> thank you so much for the for the encouraging words. It was a pleasure to work with you guys. Clear communication from concept to completion is one of my motto's and I am so happy that your experience was enhanced by it.

> I've often been surprised at the sheer volume of low-quality work that happens each and every day in our Eastern Oklahoma area. In a day and age when most people care only enough to read the bottom line of their estimate, it shouldn't surprise me that shoddy and unprofessional work is the direct result. I find myself asking the question, "How long can the building trades sustain this "low cost/low quality" business model?" So with this thought always in the back of my mind, imagine the absolutely REFRESHING feeling of running into Jared Brown and WaterRock Homes! It's been nearly 14 years since I first met Jared and I can't invent words sufficient to describe his character, professionalism & commitment to quality craftsmanship. I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard him bemoan the industry for falling for a "price at all cost" philosophy and in doing so, sacrificing the craftsmanship and integrity that used to be the norm for our fathers and their fathers before them. Jared is one of the precious few men left who is guided by principle first, regardless of the bottom line; and I've personally seen this commitment to what is right cost him thousands upon thousands of dollars of "profit" because he was simply unwilling to compromise his integrity no matter the cost.
> When it comes to character, quality of work, honesty, vision, respect for families needs and wants, communication, and ability to manage people, Jared is bar none, the best I've ever met. I dare you to find anyone as committed to principle, as committed to integrity, as committed to quality, as committed to people...anywhere...period.

**Comment from Water Rock Homes:**

> It is refreshing to know that quality and integrity are still appreciated. Thanks so much for taking the time to share this review. We truly value not only what we do but how we do it.

> We had dreamed of building a home, but truly wanted to customize it to our specific style and needs. Water Rock Homes was just the company to help us accomplish that. Jared has great working relationships with contractors in the area, was open to accommodating specific needs (like a closet to house the ping pong table, the perfect lighting fixtures, and the right stain for the woodwork) and even providing innovative ideas to make the house better (like built in chest of drawers in the children's bedrooms and personalizing a lighting fixture to meet our style). Jared is professional and personable all at the same time. What a great working relationship. We love our new home! The space speaks of our casual elegant style and the space is perfect for our growing family. Water Rock Homes is the builder you want to work with if you are looking for something that reflects your style, needs and family.

**Comment from Water Rock Homes:**

> I appreciate your comments. I have enjoyed working with you and am so glad that we were able to meet your expectations with attention to details and customizing!

> Without reservation, I confidently recommend Water Rock Homes and the owner and proprietor Jared A. Brown for your construction of your home. I have observed the workmanship of Jared Brown since 2001 and began as a direct client in 2003. I have participated with Water Rock Homes on four (4) construction projects. Water Rock Homes demonstrates qualities that are somewhat rare in the construction industry.
>
> 1.Quality of work: This Company takes great pride in using the best materials for the job. Whether it is a complete renovation or a simple touch up, I can rely on Water rock for quality products.
>
> 2.Education of the Client: Water Rock takes the necessary time to explain all of the options for the job, highlighting the pros and cons (financially as well as design) for each. I demand vendors communicate frequently and Water Rock has met the challenge.
>
> 3.Attention To Detail: From rehabilitation of a house in ground to building a house from the ground up, Water Rock employs a high standard of workmanship evidenced in the products used and the overall result. Reliable and long lasting combined with aesthetics is the Water Rock way.
>
> 4.Customer Focus: The customer isn’t always right, but he is always the customer. The company will come back as many times as necessary in order to reach agreement with the client on the work performed.
>
> Water Rock companies are simply the difference between doing it and doing it right.

## Community Q&A

**Q: name of wall paper where I can buy** *(in Photo Questions)*

I need change may wall paper in my kitchen I love this color

A: i believe this was called Salvador silver. This is a painted wall

**Q: What stone is used on this house?** *(in Photo Questions)*

We are here in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow, and we might want to use this same stone. Can you tell us the name and where it was purchased? Thanks!

A: The stone used on this house is a blend of 3 different stones for the main body of walls and columns. The arches are a different chopped block used to make the long runs through the thick walls and another corresponding stone used for the cap stone around the wainscoat. The stone supplier was Rosser stone. If there are any questions that I can help with please feel free to call us at any time
