> I had Brothers That Just Do Gutters install leaf guards last September. They were in and out fast, clean, and efficient. Almost a year later, and after a VERY rainy season, I am so glad I had this done. I used to have a huge mess every time it rained. Leaves would blow and clog my gutters, and water would pour off my roof in all the wrong places and tear my flower beds and yard apart. Now, no mess, no clean up. All the water goes exactly where it is supposed to. Nothing extra to clean up. Having these guys install gutter guards has saved me so much time and hassle, and helped my yard and property stay beautiful and well cared for. This investment has paid off tenfold or more. My only regret is not hiring them sooner!

> I highly recommend The Brothers That Just Do Gutters of Winter Garden. I contacted them about a second level gutter that rattled and vibrated every time the wind blew. Matt came out to assess the gutter and it began to pour rain. He was unable to go up to check it out at that time. In a few days he sent out two of his team members great communication to assess the gutters. Upon arrival very polite and professional. Went up tighten existing anchors and added a few more. Problem solved no further rattling or vibration. Thank you Matt and team.

> Brothers That Do Gutters based in NY gets one star from me. Their work is good… when they come over and do it. The communication with this office is awful! We’re now going on our third appointment install of just diverters for our patio. Every time I called Kathy, it was the same response; ‘let me find out what happened and I’ll call you back’. I memorized her line.
> \- Our camera caught a worker that came by but left about 12 minutes later. My husband and I thought he must have been confused on the work that should have been done.
> \- Next day my husband gets a text the work will done Monday, October 1st… we understood he meant October 2nd. We waited but no one came and no one called and not one person returned any of my calls.
> \- We’re now on our 3rd date….
> Use at your own risk. Very disappointing.

> They did an excellent job cleaning my gutters as well as putting back a downspout later that had fallen off.
> Very responsive, very professional
> Would recommend to anyone

> Brothers that just do Gutters of Clermont, FL installed new gutters around the perimeter of my home June of last year. The home had just been professionally inspected, caulked, sealed and painted just before the install. I went to inspect my home and make sure everything was sealed properly before rainy season the beginning of April. I noticed the gutters were pulling the facia away from my home in several places. It was evident the gutters were only secured to the facia and not secured into the ends of the rafters. I called the company and spoke to Tina on 4/3. She asked me to text photos and info to her. I sent the text and emailed all of the information and pictures to her that day. I called to follow up a few days later. Tina stated she did not know when they would have someone in my area to come take a look and would let me know when someone would be available. We did not hear back. Their estimator showed up at my home unannounced on 4/12. He took pictures, notes and told us the owner would be in touch to discuss a solution. I called the estimator to follow up a few days later. He did not have any new information for me. I emailed Tina 4/26 to follow up and copied the estimator. We did not hear back. I emailed Tina again on 5/2 copied the estimator and have not hear back. I have been very polite and patient. I am sure we could work together to resolve this issue, but I can not get anyone to speak to me. If they work with me and resolve this issue, I will provide and update and better review.

> We decided to go with Brothers for gutter cleaning + install of gutter guards in our new home. We previously used them in our old house for cleaning and thought they were great but have encountered several issues this time. We were originally scheduled to have 2x crews come out on a Monday. Received a call on Friday that we were getting pushed to Wednesday 2-5pm. Wednesday came and went and no one showed up. At 5pm we called to see what the deal was. Everyone had left the office for the day and our sales person couldn't figure out why the crew was a no show. He finally got in contact with the crew who said they just got on site (which was false because we were home at the time).
>
> The following day, the office and they said that we were pushed from Wednesday because the crew didn't have a big enough ladder which was never communicated to us. We even called the office Wednesday to confirm they were coming. On Thursday. 1x crew (instead of 2x) came and started working on the project but it started to rain so they had to stop halfway through. The crew told us they would be back Friday or Saturday to complete.
>
> No one came and no one called us Friday or Saturday. We called the office again on Monday and were told we were now scheduled to be completed the following Monday (2 weeks after our initially scheduled day!). We expressed our frustration given the lack of communication and delays and the office was able to provide us with a small discount on the service.
>
> Monday comes for the completion of the service and we were informed by the crew that they could not access a portion of the gutters that are now covered by an awning that was put up during this 2 week delay. We were never informed that there would be any issue accessing that portion of the gutters if the awning were to get installed. We already paid to put the awning up, now Brothers is saying we need to incur the $500+ cost to take down and put the awning back up if we want our project completed.
>
> If the project were to be completed on time this would not have been an issue. In addition if we were informed that the awning would be a concern, we could have done something to ensure the awning did not get installed during Brothers' reschedules and delays. The lack of communication and the consistent delays in our project has just been completely unacceptable when we are paying $3000+ for a project.

> Poor quality service. We just had new gutters installed. Horrendous workmanship. The new gutters they installed leak and they installed a crocked downspout. One of the workers even dropped there drill on the downspout while they where getting it ready for installation. Of course the drill left a dent in the metal. They still installed it but flipped the downspout to try and hide the dent against the house. I was shocked. First week after installation it rained, we had leaks in multiple places. We are still waiting for repairs, its been almost two months now. They are quick to schedule you for a job and take your money for spotty work, buts it almost impossible to schedule them to return and fix there mistakes. Horrible service experience overall.

> The Brothers that Just Do Gutters have cleaned my gutters for a few years now. Being my first home, I was concerned about price, value, and follow-through as I was with any service that I needed. They have been amazing - after a few years of gutter cleaning, they also replaced all of my gutters when my neighbors roof ice tore all of my gutters down. They are incredibly efficient - show up when they say they will, the price is fair, they are friendly and knowledgeable, I truly can not say enough positive comments about them. I moved overseas last year and have continued to work with them to maintain the gutters on my house. They have truly bent over backwards to accommodate my needs as a customer - even from 10,000 miles away on the other side of the planet. I highly recommend them.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Curb appeal and landscape help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Just changed all of the facia and rake boards to composite. Having charcoal roof and new white gutters installed. Need ideas on landscaping and other curb appeal ideas like front door color. Thanks.

A: You already have all the essentials of a typical Georgian Home, therefore I would add shutters and paint the door white. Good Luck!

**Q: shutters????** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What color should we repaint these or should we just replace them?

A: We recommend wider shutters. You could take ideas from French Style Homes and use a rustic brown shutter (As pictured below). And although you're only interested in shutters you might also consider planting around the left window. Simple curb appeal can make a big difference! Good Luck :)

**Q: Changing exterior paint colors. I would love some help with color suggestions.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Currently the trim on my house is a cream/yellow. Brick is Old Chicago Style with a lot of buff, gray, and light terracotta tones. The iron railing is painted a charcoal gray and the window awnings are copper. I would like a change! I am removing the divided light from all doors and windows. I would love any new suggestions for iron color, trim and accents around the windows.

A: We agree with Kelly! The green would look nice. You might also consider copper gutters since you already have copper awnings. Good Luck :)

**Q: Desperately needing curb appeal help!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

This is the front of our house. Lots of flagstone and concrete. We don't know where to start, but we do know we want color. Any ideas welcome.

A: The addition of Half Round Copper Gutters would add color and contrast. You could add custom copper leaders and downspouts to finish the job! Good luck :)

**Q: What color should I paint my 1834 home.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We bought the house a few years ago . Ready to consider repainting it and do not want the current color. Would be great if new color could coordinate with my beige aluminum storm windows.

A: Although we are fans of the color right now, we understand if it doesn't suit your needs. If anything I would go for a neutral color in the tan, white, or gray category. However if for some reason you do decided to keep the color of the home you could offset the color by adding galvanized gutters. Notice, how the galvanized gutters stand out against the brick. Good Luck :)

**Q: Paint Colour for Front Door and Shutters** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I need to help with paint colour for my front door and shutters. Any suggestions are most welcome!!

A: I prefer an all white door. Maybe make the shutters dark green. Also not sure if you have green painted gutters but I would also recommend painting the gutters white. Such as the picture below. Good Luck :)
