> Alan and his team had already done a masterful job on our interior remodel on Lopez Island so naturally we went straight to them for replacing and expanding our deck. We got wonderful suggestions about the design we had in mind and Alan collaborated with us carefully as we chose materials and made other decisions that made sense for our budget, including re-use of as much of the old deck's foundation as possible. The finished project is great and we receive nothing but compliments on it.

> Having a house remodeled when you are off island and totally reliant on your contractor to keep you informed of progress and to make smart decisions is a daunting concept. We could not have been happier with Alan and his team. Alan's regular communication, including frequent pictures, helped us stay informed every step of the way. The design input from Alan was fantastic, and his workers and subcontractors truly were artists that paid attention to tiny details. In spite of being slammed with a pandemic in the middle of construction, Alan kept the work moving forward steadily and the end product (virtually a full makeover of the entire house) is a thing of beauty. Based on how well Alan made suggestions that kept cost under control no matter what problems were found behind our walls, we will probably just hire him for future projects without takings bids.
