> I have found Law Finishing business on the Web.  Once contacted, the owner Mike attended promptly at our residence.   We ( My wife and I) explained what we had in mind for work surrounding our staircase and living room.  Carpet from the stairs had to be removed and be upgraded with hard wood.  Crown mouldings and chair railings were to be installed in the living room.  In addition, we draw from Mike's expertise when describing and developing our vision of a final product/work to be achieved.  Painting and colour suggestion for the living room were also taken into consideration.  Mike was listening and certainly paid attention to our needs, wants and expectation.

> As soon all the materials were ready; the work began.  His employees were kind and used cautions when walking and working in the house.  One neighbour commented about seeing them removing or cleaning shoes/boots each time prior to entering the residence... .

> I had the opportunity to see the workmanship and expertise being applied by the employees and Mike when making the preliminary measurements, cutting/fabricating and installing each piece of lumber for the staircase.  At the end of each working day, the surrounding (inside and outside the house) was carefully cleaned and tools removed.

> I contacted Laws Finishing about building a large, floor-to-ceiling custom basement entertainment centre which enclosed an electrical panel.  Mike, the owner, was very easy to reach on his cell phone and arranged to meet within 1-2 days to discuss details of the project.  He arrived at the time agreed upon and recorded a thorough copy of my requirements.  He then took the measurements of the project and left, saying he'd be in touch within a couple days with an estimate.  I had an estimate within those couple of days as promised.   He had given me a time frame of approximately one month for the project to allow time for construction to be done and painting to be arranged.  It was ready within 3 weeks.   On the day of the installation,  his crew arrived at the time agreed upon and worked the entire day, completing as much as possible and returned the next day to finish the job.   Prior to leaving, all materials were cleaned up and removed, and the area was vacuumed.  My wife and I couldn't be happier with the experience and the workmanship.

> Laws Finishing framed, hung drywall and did finishing work in our basement.  They were always on time, made sure that all work was done on schedule and the quality of the work was excellent.  They facilitated ordering and delivery of all materials, which made things very easy for us.

  - Description: What a treat this job was. Some Basic, but classic, crown molding. We also fixed some door stop and made adjustments to the doors so they would open and close with ease. We re-framed a closet opening that had previously had a double bi-fold that went from floor to ceiling using MDF so that all the customer had to do was paint and we could be out within a day.
