### Reviews

**★★★★★ — 1stately1, June 2026**

> Scott Springer no regrets because he designed and drew our new craftsman plans.
> Scott is honest and really helped my wife and I get the plans ready for permit and approval.

**★★★★★ — Mike S, Jan. 2019**

> Scott's design work is excellent and his way of working with clients and contractors is exceptional from project start to completion.
>
> Our entryway and stairway were out of style and lacked privacy. Moreover, the railings and landing areas were not to code, which created risk for our young family. Scott provided several creative concepts to consider based on our direction. Once we aligned on a design, he managed the contractor RFP process and proposal evaluation and selection. His construction documents were precise and even included exquisite detail for a custom rail system.
>
> Scott's renovation design created the optimal balance between our home's contemporary style and its open air spaces with child safety needs. It also provided a lot more storage space discreetly. We even feel like we gained more privacy on the second floor landing and bedroom areas.
>
> When inevitable construction questions, changes or challenges arose, Scott was very responsive and solution-oriented. He was flexible and reasonable when changes were made, and he visited the site and collaborated with all stakeholders to ensure the craftsmanship stayed true to the design plan and his high standards. We are happy with how it all turned out and highly recommend Scott.

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Scott Springer was the ultimate professional. I felt like I never had to worry about him dealing with my building and all the vendors he used on my project were great. He always listened to my ideas and worked to incorporate them into something that was much better than I could have imagined. He is the best!!

> Thank you, Susan! I look forward to the next project.

**★★★★★ — Susan Acker, Dec. 2016**

> Working with Scott was an absolute pleasure! We moved our food production facility from NY to CT and Scott designed our new space for us. The existing site was a school previously so Scott had his work cut out for him. From start to finish, he handled our project with professionalism, great insight, creative ideas, and understanding of our needs. He offered solutions that impacted the final outcome of our project in a very positive way. His response to all our needs was exceptional and we always felt that we had his undivided attention. When he committed to a time line, he always kept it. We could not be happier with the layout of our new facility! We would always want to use Scott for any future needs because he really is a first rate professional.

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Thanks, Susan! It was great working with you and I am glad your new space is working out well.

**★★★★★ — Diane Lowman, Dec. 2016**

> Scott did the plans for our master bath renovation. He went above and beyond, coming up with a creative and efficient way to increase our usable space. He was super easy to work with and very respectful of our budget and timing. I highly recommend Scott and plan on using him again in the future.

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Thanks Diane! It was great working with you and I look forward to the next project.

**★★★★★ — Elizabeth W. Spring, Dec. 2016**

> We enlisted Scott's help to modernize our small master bathroom, and create a new bathroom in our downstairs unit. Scott quickly understood our vision, developing a few options for us to choose from, and providing his guidance on what he thought would be best. Once the plans were drawn and agreed upon, he monitored progress and worked with our contractor to ensure everything was done to his standards (which are exacting!). Scott was readily available during our project, and would proactively check in just to see how things were going overall. When I have had questions about potential projects in the future, Scott readily lends his expertise with no hesitation or delay. Our projects turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Overall, Scott is a pleasure to work with - timely, responsive, meticulous, and gracious!

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Thank you, Liz! I am glad you are happy with the results and hope we can work on more projects in the future.

**★★★★★ — Libbey Junius, Nov. 2016**

> “Scott designed our master bathroom renovation. He did an amazing job and made the whole process so easy. I highly recommend Scott and will definitely use his company for future renovations.”

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Thank you, Libbey! It was great working with you both.

**★★★★★ — Jurgen Link, Nov. 2016**

> I have had the pleasure to work with Scott on several projects over the past 2 years and learned to appreciate -amongst others - his creativity, professionalism and ability to exceed expectations. He is able to think "big picture" while paying attention to even the smallest details. Scotts diverse background includes large scale commercial projects which enables him to solve challenges that are outside of the roam of most residential architects. At the same time, he is able to pour his heart into small projects and will treat them as if they were done in his own home. I highly recommend Scott.

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Jurgen, thank you for your review. It has been a pleasure working with you and I look forward to the next project!

**★★★★★ — Robin Henry Studio, Oct. 2016**

> Scott and I worked together on a gut renovation of the master and hall baths in my Connecticut house as well as designs for a future kitchen rehab. Scott drew up beautiful plans and elevations for both projects, including custom cabinetry designs. He resolved issues in elegant ways and found a great contractor to bring the bath reno in at a reasonable cost. He oversaw the process from start to finish (the job took four months total) and advocated on my behalf. He is approachable, flexible, and very reliable. His fees were reasonable. And he brought the whole thing off without a hitch! I am grateful and would highly recommend him for any residential job. Also I would like to add that I am an interior designer myself and I have worked with a lot of architects, and Scott compares very favorably. I would definitely hire him again.

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Thank you, Robin! It was a pleasure working with you and Andrew. I look forward to the next project!

**★★★★★ — amytharrison, March 2016**

> Scott Springer is a wonderfully talented architect who is an absolute pleasure to work with. Scott did complete redesign of our old and disjointed kitchen. He took a large space and made it every square inch functional for our family. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and I am so happy in this space!
>
> In addition to our kitchen, we were working with Scott to do an addition of our upstairs to include a master bath suite and closet as well as adding a fourth bedroom. Scott was very much involved with every aspect of the "leg work". He attended countless meetings with our General Contractor, recommended a fantastic structural engineer, and worked closely with the surveyor. After hearing our initial concerns, Scott advised us against doing this addition as he felt that it would not be a good return on our investment. I was so very impressed by his honesty! He knew this would be a decision we would regret and he was right!
>
> Scott has wonderful ideas and insight and listens to his clients to provide the best possible solution that will fit your needs! He is prompt and responsive in his communications and delivers drafts to you on their deadline (if not before!). Choosing Scott as your architect means you will work with an experienced, honest and trust worthy professional who has your best interests in mind!

**Comment from Scott Springer Architect LLC:**

> Thank you! I am very happy that you are enjoying your kitchen.

  - Description: Built in 1948 on a hill high above Compo Cove and Sherwood Millpond, the original bungalow underwent a major renovation in 2000 during which a second story was added in a contemporized Nantucket style vocabulary. In 2015, Scott Springer Architect was hired to design an expansion of the second floor. The directive of the clients was to closely match the massing and details of the existing structure and allow the addition to appear as if it had always been a part of the house.
