> Atlantic Source removed a glass shower enclosure that had old looking chrome trim pieces. They installed a semi frameless glass shower enclosure. It looks beautiful and the guys who did the work did a fantastic job. The two guys were very polite and left our bathroom as clean as when they started. I highly recommend Atlantic Source. Whenever I had a question for Mike, he was always very receptive.

> We had Atlantic Source install custom closets in our recently purchased home. They listened to what we wanted, had great design ideas, and were happy to work with us to ensure we were getting what we needed. In their process, you receive a detailed design plan (and updated plans if plans change) which includes easy-to-understand diagrams, with the the precise size (to a 16th of an inch) of every shelf and drawer for your specific closet. The wood is prepared for installation before they arrive to install, which makes installation efficient and without a mess. The installers were both experienced and friendly. I would highly recommend Atlantic Source, and would use them again.

> We contracted with the owner of Atlantic source in late October 2022 to design an install custom shelving in a newly built large closet. The design came quickly and we paid our deposit of 50%, with the owner confirming that the closet shelving was ordered on October 26th, and his expectation that it would be five weeks. There was no communication, and I finally reached out after eight weeks. The owner, Mike, seemed unsure if the ordered shelving had arrived, but said he would confirm and let us know the following day. We had difficulty getting further communication and a firm date for installation from Mike, but after a few weeks we had an installed closet. And that is when the problems really began.
> We had been out of town when the closet was installed, so we did not see the work or workmen build the closet. We had confirmed with Mike that we would pay the remainder of the cost after we had looked at the completed work. When we did so, we found that the shelving components were chipped, damaged, and very grimy (pictures below). The shelving appeared old and/or previously used. This was every shelf/bulkhead, not just one. We queried Mike and sent him pictures, and he agreed that the finished problem was not acceptable and stated that he had not seen the final result in person. He agreed to correct the issues and apologized. This took two weeks, and he notified us that he had personally ensured that the closet was good to go. When we again saw the completed work, the only change was that some of the most obvious grime had been removed. No components had been replaced.
> At this point we called Mike immediately and asked him if he could come by the next day so we could talk about the closet and the concerns in person. He agreed and when he arrived he stated that he had cleaned the closet and used a magic eraser for an hour. We stated that we were mostly concerned that the materials did not appear to be the new materials for which we had been paid and that we had been told were ordered. He denied that the materials had been installed elsewhere, but in later conversations he talked around confirming that the materials had been ordered specifically for our project and were opened and unboxed for our project.
> Ultimately, Mike offered to replace two of the eight vertical pieces and none of the (23) horizontal pieces. We decided that since the majority of the pieces likely would be further damaged by the removal and replacement of the central pieces, it wasn't worth the risk. In addition, it had already taken 17 weeks instead of 5, and were ready to move on. We declined, and did pay him the remainder owed, and that was the right thing to do for us.
>
> We cannot recommend Atlantic Source. At the very least, I would strongly recommend that you be present during installation, and make sure that the materials are new and out of the box.

> We contracted with Atlantic Source to install closet shelves and doors. We met with the owner to discuss the design of the closet. From that point forward things became challenging. After sending a deposit to the owner, we encountered communication delays. We were told the cabinents would be installed on or around a certain date. Knowing supply chain issues were happening across all industries, we waited a week after the date we were given. We left text messages, emails and voicemails, all unanswered. Finally after multiple attempts we received an update that it would be significantly longer than what we were told. We again waited until after the next promised date to make contact. like the time before, no response. At that point I sent an email requesting my deposit be returned. The email was then answered and we were given an installation date. Prior to the installation the owner stopped by for a site visit. We reinforced items we had discussed in our original planning sessions. A few of the items we discussed were not completed by the time the men left on the final day of installation. We contacted the owner to discuss the items. We told him we would like to pay him as soon as those items were completed. His men came back and completed all the items with the exception of doors that were part of the original design. The owner told us the doors were on backorder and should arrive in a few weeks. Attempting to be fair, we paid the balance of the invoice minus the cost of the doors. After several weeks, we again contacted the owner. We have made repeated attempts since December, via email, text and voicemail, with no response. In my last email, I mentioned this would be my last attempt to make contact. No response to that email.
> In summation, I would not recommend doing business with Atlantic Source, Inc, given all the facts I've stated. The owners commucation skills are abysmal and you run the risk the contract will not be completed as agreed upon. At this point I am considering my options concering the closet doors.

> What an awesome experience! Mike had fantastic ideas for my owner's closet and they somehow passed from his mind into reality, based on the hard work of his great team. They were courteous, on time, friendly -- and did great work. They even helped me make some last minute choices by showing me a cabinet in my kitchen so I could be surprised when my closet was completed! Awesome!
> Since our first job, I have commissioned Mike and his team to build me a built-in cabinet in my laundry room and to upgrade my stairs and flooring! So grateful to have found Mike and Atlantic Source, so I can tackle these projects with someone who is professional and who I can trust! Great work!

> Mike was great to work with! Competitive pricing and quality craftsmanship. Our garage looks amazing and is now organized and efficient.

> Mike Mattia of Atlantic Source in Lewes, DE built the most beautiful closets that far exceeded our already high expectations! He designed and installed three walk-in closets, one large wall closet, a linen closet, pantry, and coat closet. We love everything he did so much! His careful attention to detail was amazing. Mike is a real professional – dependable, hard-working, reliable, honest, kind, friendly, and creative. He made small spaces large and useful. We highly, highly recommend him to anyone trying to “stretch” their closets. He put a mirror in the closets that you pull out and turn to see yourself and then it tucks away. The drawers are “slow-close” and they are deep and gorgeous. The shelving is adjustable which will be helpful through the years. He installed belt holders, hooks, and even jewelry racks for earrings and necklaces. Ask Mike about the special, secret compartments!! (It’s a secret!). My Atlantic Source closets are what I love the most about my new house! And that’s not all – you should see the stunning glass shower doors framed in brushed gold that Mike designed and installed! Amazing beyond belief perfect! He hung mirrors at just the right and was helpful to us in so many ways. He even brought our packages inside for us when we were out of town. Mike is a great person and always accessible and willing to go the extra mile to provide great customer service. I almost forgot to mention that his price was very reasonable. We had priced three different closet stretchers and his price was fair and decent and well worth it! Mike, himself, is a fair and decent person – a man of his word – and he truly enjoys helping others and takes pride in his work. I cannot recommend him and Atlantic Source enough. Take a look at these photos. A wonderful experience! Thank you, Mike, and Atlantic Source.

> This review is in 2 parts.
> The actual closets we had Mike and his team do came out well. Good quality and workmanship.
> The issues were and still are with the after installation work. Mike was supposed to do some finishing work for us, as agreed to in mid August. It is now late November and it is still not done. It is frustrating because I have called, texted, emailed and have gotten only one text response saying he was sorry and that he is busy...and nothing more. No commitment to finish. It was especially disappointing because I had add on work done and recommended them to others. Will not do that again, and made our builder aware of the less than acceptable work. If you use them, don't need any post install work! They don't do that or get back to you!

> Mike was nothing short of amazing. He designed and built two master closets for us, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Particularly in this area, it is difficult to find somebody who has as strong as a work ethic as Mike. He shows up when he says he's going to, he is very courteous, and him and his crew are hard-working, courteous, and extremely proficient at what they do. I highly recommend Mike.

> Atlantic Source just completed customization of our master suite closet.
> The entire process from start to end was seamless. Mike and his crew are very friendly and professional. Our new closet is beautiful and the design maximized storage space.
> I will recommend this company and certainly use for upcoming projects.
>
> Thanks so much!!

> Atlantic Source, Inc. did a great job installing our exterior blinds. They were extremely efficient with their install and very easy to work with throughout the design and ordering process. I would definitely use them again.
