Creative, patient, visionary, and collaborative are words you would expect from any designer, but Julia takes it to the next level. But for her sense of humor and calming effect on our many frustrations and disappointments along the way (none of which were her doing) we may have thrown in the towel a long time ago. To be honest, I didn't think we need a renovation because everything worked fine and nothing was broken. But apparently, I am too old school and 'updating' is a thing so I reluctantly agreed. But now that I see the finished product and what looks like an entirely new home, I can't seem to stop smiling. My dining room and parlor (new word I learned during this process) looks like they need to be in a magazine. My master bath is like a spa. My family room is so very welcoming and much more spacious than I knew. And my kitchen doesn't look like it belongs in the original Godfather movie.
