> Hired Crocker Contracting to work on a deck at one of my rental properties. He started working on it at after several messages to get started. Work was not completed and has not been responsive after agreeing to send a check back.

> Crocker Contracting BEN was going to build me a small house this sumer breaking ground around
> 7-15. Ben has had 6 week's to send the bank his part of the paperwork. As of 7-13 he has not done so. l have wasted 6 weeks waiting for him. Now it's going to be another 6 week's because I'm still at ground zero. So l will be finding a new contractor. When I asked Ben if he had mailed said paperwork on 7-10, he said he had mailed it almost a week ago. My bank has not received anything from him. I have asked Ben several times about this in the past 6 week's he has run me around in circles since May and has been hard to get in contact with him at times, total breakdown of communication for details and answeres to question's/timeline issues.
> I wish I called somebody - Anybody else. Beware. Thank you.

> We hired Crocker Contracting in January 2019 to renovate a home we had just purchased. We agreed in email and verbally for a completion date of 5/3/2019 at the latest as our home we currently lived in was under contract (sold) and we had to be moved out by 5/3/19. Per an email from Ben Crocker on 3/14/2019, he confirmed that the renovations would be complete and we would be able to move into our new home by 5/3/19. Crocker Contracting's last day of work performed on our home was 4/27/2019. Ben left the house without a kitchen, without a working bathroom, without electric, without water, bare concrete floors, partial poorly hung sheetrock, some without insulation behind it at all and some parts of the ceiling with no sheetrock at all. The floor they installed in the bathroom was installed incorrectly which resulted in it being wavy. Crocker Contracting left us with nowhere to live as well as my husband having nowhere to work as he works from home. The job came to a complete halt when he left on 4/27/2019. He left no orders for any other contractor to pick up where he left off. Crocker Contracting abandoned us and left us in a horrible state of homelessness. Thankfully we are now renting a cabin for the summer as the new contractor needs 8 to 12 weeks to tear out what work was done as it was done poorly and/or was not to code. We are now paying a mortgage and RENT as well as paying for a storage unit. This cabin is very small and could not hold all of our belongings. The rent is actually more than our mortgage so the outflow of money has been horrible! It was very difficult to find a short term rental in Maine in the summer that would allow 3 dogs. Most short term rentals are for vacationers renting by the night and extremely expensive. Luckily we found a cabin owner that took mercy on us and gave us a monthly rate. We hope this review will help insure no other family is left homeless because of Crocker Contracting's incompetence and dishonestly.

> Ben was recommended to us by Graduate Painting to fix the rotten fascia and trim on our house before the painters got to work. He showed up and walked us around, telling us what he thought needed to be replaced and what he didn't. When he got to work he immediately impressed us with his attention to detail.
> We called him back to replace our rotting front porch. He worked fast, and added all the small details that really finish the whole look.

> Ben reinstalled the vinyl siding on our buildings, and did an excellent job! Very honest, always showed up early, and followed through with his word. He is the definition of a builder with integrity!
