> I knew about Hitomi's KonMari skills for a long time, but I was resistant to working with her and resistant to adopting her philosophy. I had experienced her home and knew it felt peaceful and refreshing.  Honestly, my concern was that even if I could organize my clothes and declutter in the KonMari tradition, I wouldn't be able to keep it up. I didn't want to start and fail. I knew one thing confidently that Hitomi would not judge me. One day when I couldn't take the mess anymore, we started to declutter. First, we tackled the laundry room, then the "junk" drawers, then finally my clothes. I was amazed at how much I could throw away and consolidate fixtures.  My fear of not keeping it up was utterly unfounded. The KonMari folding method makes it so easy not to get messy in the first place. Keeping it up is simple and doesn't eat up a lot of time. > Hito organized the area under our kitchen sink and our pantry.  In previous visits to our condo she organized a large closet and showed me how to fold and hang my clothes.  I downsized to a smaller condo a few years ago where storage space is at a premium.  Hito has a great talent for seeing how things can be better organized without buying a lot of additional containers.  For our pantry closet Hito and I worked together to throw away expired items, combine duplicate items and then use all the available space to organize food items by category and frequency of use.  It has been easy to keep the areas organized after she leaves.  Hito is a very nice person and an energetic quick worker.  I highly recommend hiring Hito to help you organize your home and/or office.
