> I’ve taken time prior to writing this review because of the emotions that this process and position that Kristen and Davis left us in.
> We found a piece of land in Lebanon. Our first mistake was we contacted them directly as they owned the lot, to see if they could build the size house that we were looking for on the lot. We were reassured that they could and asked us to buy the lot from them prior to them building, this was mistake number two.
> We purchased the lot including money down without using our own agent (mistake \#3) and started the planning process. We were given a quote on the house and things started moving Including our money.
> Yes some design changes were made and as talks were happening they were always happy to say “yes that will work”, and send a a new quote. Over the next few months we received 5 quotes that increased by 80,000 dollars thus putting the house WAY out of budget. When asked why the price kept going up we would get constant different answers like cost of construction or materials or crane costs, design costs, the fact that They let the permits expire and now we owe to get those re done, it was constantly something. Next thing we know the money we had saved had switched hands from ours to theirs and the price of the build had sky rocketed.
> So now we were out of the nest egg we moved up here with to build our home, we owned a piece of land with no home on it, and Kristen was going around telling people that the land was”Not Buildable” so we couldn’t even sell it.
> When we started the process we felt like we were working with family, but we quickly learned this was a facade and one they wanted us to fall for and unfortunately we did. We lost everything. We had no home and no nest egg.
> Please don’t work with them. Save your money and just wait the time you have to wait to work with a builder that will actually build you a home. I promise you it will be worth it
