> This is probably the most off the wall request I presented ant designer but I did to bbr. I don’t live anywhere near bbr’s designer, I live in another province. I was in the seeking out someone with a different mind set on designing from afar and that’s where my project began.
> I approached bbr/Megan with a complete basement reno for a rental income property. We gutted the basement to bare cement walls and needed help with a design. I wasn’t able to have Megan come to Alberta so instead I sent her all of the measurements required for the basement with details of what I wanted/required. Megan designed to scale a two bedroom suite, relocating the existing plumbing area for bathroom and creating a kitchen area in which had no plumbing in place.
> The results were beyond my imagination. Just the thought that Megan was able to create and design this suite from my measurements only. We were able to build this suite by the drawings she presented us with(Megan never actually saw the place) turned out SPECTACULAR.
> This income suite has been profitable right from the get go. The renters feel like they are in a cozy comfortable well planned out home.

> I have worked with Megan Heil on two projects: a complete renovation on an industrial-style loft (new kitchen, lighting, and cabinets in living room and bedroom) and smaller projects in my more traditional-style home (flooring and built-in bookcase). She took time to understand the ‘look’ I was aiming for and the budget I had to work with. She encouraged me to visit showrooms on my own and then talk to her about my choices before ordering. If I needed advice, Megan would meet me at the showroom to help with my selection. We worked together to find the best options for my taste and budget. Megan is incredibly knowledgeable about products, from paint to flooring to appliances and recommended where I could find what I was looking for. She drew up the plans and worked with the contractors throughout the project, which was enormously helpful to both the contractors and me.  Megan is an absolute joy to work with and I look forward to working with her again.
