> I can’t say enough good things about Metamorphosed. They have gone above and beyond in helping me with a Livingroom/dining room makeover – where the main focus was adding a fireplace where one had not existed before. I had a vision but was still unsure of the final picture and of what I actually wanted. Jamie and I collaborated (a lot); and with their AMAZING renderings, we narrowed down style, then got busy with the details. She really held my hand every step of the way (I even texted a picture of a piece of art I was considering while in the store the other day). She suggested things I would never have thought of or found on my own. Jamie and Gunter even collaborated with my contractor to get some of the construction details correct. There is still a phase II of this project to be completed; and I hope to be able to share more b4 and after photos soon. I have 4 other home projects already in my head which I can’t wait to get started on with their help!
> Here is a photo before the fireplace and one of the renderings.

> I contacted Metamorphosed to help me design a tv room adjacent to my kitchen. We had a few phone conversations in which Jamie really did want to understand my style, needs, wants as well as budget. Working with Jamie was truly a pleasure and I enjoyed the process throughout, she was such a joy to work with and I felt like she listened and really wanted to exceed all my needs. She contacted me often providing options and asking for my input so she could complete the project. Our room is small so it provided some challenges and we had some requirements for comfort, she blew my mind with the solutions she came up with for instance some furniture placement that I had never thought of, and as a result, we have a beautiful tv room that is cozy, comfortable and classy exactly what I wanted and more. Jamie also designed a built-in cabinet around the fireplace as a storage solution, she really thought out all aspects of the room and provided me with a gorgeous design. She also picked out the backsplash, countertop, and lighting for the kitchen making sure it was cohesive and complimented the tv room. Metamorphosed provided amazing 3D renderings that were beyond helpful in the process to help visualize the room. Jamie at Metamorphosed exceeded all my expectations and I look forward to working with her again as she proved to be not only beyond talented but also flexible and easy to work with.

> Jamie was an absolute pleasure to work with! I needed help with the layout out my awkwardly shaped living room, and Jamie provided several ideas for me and was wonderful at taking my specific needs into account. She was professional, timely, and also very sweet. I would recommend her, and plan to use her for any of my future design needs.

> Amazing. This company is not only easy to deal with, but extremely friendly and professional. They really do make your visions come to life in a space you couldn’t imagine for yourself. My husband and I bought an old house with old everything. It was all painted brown and looked absolutely horrible, but it was the only thing in our price range. We found this company and, through imaging they showed us how we could transform this once dreaded space into our absolute dream home.
> The detail, the thoughts, and how they listened and put everything into an image of what we have always wanted was amazing. We cannot recommend this company enough to anyone looking to make their home, a true dream home!

**Comment from Metamorphosed:**

> Jamie and Joe are super people to work with. They opened their ears and absorbed EVERYTHING I needed in my Kitchen Renovation quote / presentation. They also , even offered their own ideas which I was entirely pleased with. I'm so happy with their service, that I definitely will not look elsewhere for my future renderings , consultations , and ideas. Also , their renderings were absolutely beautiful, and more than I could have ever anticipated. Keep up the fabulous professional work, Jamie and Joe. ( Dave Betschel - Bel-Par Renovations. )

## Community Q&A

**Q: Love the hexagon tiles. where are they from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Thank you!

A: Thank you! This is actually a discontinued wallpaper and not a tile.

**Q: Family/Great-Room Chandelier** *(in Home Decorating)*

I'm hoping for some suggestions on choosing a new chandelier for this room! A small, ugly ceiling fan is currently what's in here, courtesy of the builder (why do they always pick the most horrendous things 😫) but I think a large stylish chandelier would be much better! Please feel free to give any other feedback regarding this room...I've struggled with it and changed things numerous times...and for me its still a work in progess as well. I have 2 toddlers so decorating is not easy!

The room is 15 by 20 and the ceilings are about 17 feet. The wall sconces are new so I know I'd like to coordinate with those at least?

If anybody has any ideas on what type of chandelier or light fixure would work in this room, I'd appreciate it!

A: They are both from Wayfair and very affordable! I didn't see an overall height though, something to consider.

**Q: What color to paint home office walls & bookcase with mahogany desk** *(in Home Decorating)*

Our home office is in desperate need of a makeover!! We have a mahogany Kimball desk and file cabinets that I cannot replace right now. We also have built in bookcases that are stained mahogany. Hard to see in the pic but the walls are an olive green, and the room is just off of the entryway which has pale yellow walls and a marble floor. Planning to declutter the bookshelves and possibly replace the crown moulding with white. Please help -- what color should I paint the walls to bring the room into this century? Should I also paint the bookcases, if so, what color? There are some blue-gray paints I like for the walls, but not sure if that will look too dark. Thanks for your time and advice!

A: A rich warm grey would work beautifully as would a smokey blue. I think painting the cabinets would look amazing and pulling in some warmer textures/colours/materials for window treatments, accessories and lighting would give it an elevated and sophisticated vibe.

Here's an office we did for a client last year..painted their wood cabinetry, added dark wood herringbone floors, gold and white lighting fixtures and kept their dark wood desk. High gloss white ceilings and light coloured fabric on the sofas and light coloured area rug kept it from feeling too dark and heavy and helped balance out the masculine vibe.

**Q: length of the vanity** *(in Photo Questions)*

Beautiful bathroom! Can you please tell me the full length of the vanity including the end cabinets? How wide is the sit down vanity and how wide are the end cabinets? Thank you!

A: @B Hensarling Thank you so much! We really enjoyed designing this one. The overall width of the vanity including fillers and end panels is 165". The tall end cabinets are both 24" wide, the drawers are 36" wide, the middle sitting portion is 42" in width.

**Q: Bathroom Mirror Selection** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I’m having a difficult time figuring out what type of mirror/mirrors for my bathroom. I’m doing this from out of state, so I don’t have eyes on the space. My vanity will be set with a wall on each side of it. As you can see , the sinks will be rather close to each side in order to allow us each our own drawers in the center. It is 72 inches wider. I really love the look of two mirrors, but I wonder if that will look off since there is more space between the two sinks. Thoughts? Experience? Should I use one big mirror? Then there is the lighting dilemma.
Cabinets are a beautiful dark maple, similar to the picture. Counter a light quartz. Black matte hardware.

A: You could definitely do two mirrors and if that's what really calls to you, you should! I personally love the look of a double wall sconce between vanity mirrors so maybe that's something that you could consider since the space between the sinks looks fairly wide. The picture is a 3D render we for some clients and I realize it's not the style you're showing but just to give an idea of double mirrors and double wall sconces between them. Hope that helps!

**Q: What should I do with this space???** *(in Remodeling)*

We are in the middle of remodeling a very weird house with lots of oddities built in. Most of them are gone now, but this is one of the last remaining: a bizarrely tiny triangle-shaped broom closet. Our contractor has built a normal sized closet for cleaning supplies so what do we do with this space? I took this photo standing in our pantry. To the left is a powder room and to the right is the kitchen. The back wall is about 2ft and the side wall is about 1ft.

A: I would put a door on it and use the space for bathroom supplies since it's right next to the powder room or maybe a place to put extra kitchen things that you can't find a home for like large pots/dishes/gadgets. Once your renos are done and you have a feel for how the space is really used, you will have a better idea what you'd like to put in there. Hope that helps!
