Hi, I’m Katelin Fast and I founded Uncluttered by Design as a way to help others embrace a more relaxing and simplified life.  As a mother of 3, I know how challenging and chaotic life can be and often organization can be the first thing to go.  Making sure that my house was set up in a practical manner helped me stay sane!   

With a degree in interior design, I believe that practicality and beautifully designed spaces are not mutually exclusive but instead can work together seamlessly.  Using organizational systems has so many benefits such as more time, saves money, reduces stress and anxiety, improves relationships, encourages healthy lifestyles, improves self confidence and so much more. > Katelin is absolutely amazing! She is easy to work with and really listened to my wants and needs. I am a mother of four teenagers in a fairly small home, so storage space tends to be lacking. Our kitchen pantry was busting at the seams. She was able to edit and organize it with a system that is not only maintainable but also aesthetically pleasing. It is now easy to see everything we have in the pantry so I am not rebuying things that I already have. It is a simple system that really made a world of difference. I highly recommend Katelin and Uncluttered by Design for any organization project you have.

She went above and beyond to get the materials we needed for the closets, cleaned and organized the areas she was working on for us and provided a fabulous service all the way around. We live in a smaller 1980’s track-home so to have completely customized/functional closets that look like they are out of a magazine is truly a dream come true. Now I’m addicted and want her to organize every square inch of my house lol.

The last closet was in another bedroom/office. We again removed the shelves and rods and installed the same Elfa system with shelves and drawers.

Once everything was sorted and put away the client was able to park 2 cars in the garage.
