The quality of the materials, matched with the craftsmanship of the installation teams truly depicts what you see on pictures and more so in person. We were interested in building an integrated pool and outdoor Pavilion area. Originally we worked exclusively with a design-build company. When their price was very high, we opened the bidding to other pool and landscape contractors. We found pool experts that did Pavilions on the side, and Landscape contractors who did pools on the side; leaving us with a sense that we would have to sacrifice quality on the pool or the Pavilion. Fortunately, we located the team of Pristine Acres and Anthony Sylvan Pools. Anthony Sylvan did an excellent job of building the pool and Steve worked seamlessly with them to install custom flagstone coping, custom stairs, a jumping rock, and the flagstone decking. When the pool was complete, Pristine Acres continued on, installing stone retaining walls, stone stairways, a firepit, stacked stone walls, considerable landscaping, and custom lighting. Steve's team worked on the Pavilion in parallel, entirely replacing the previous decking with better materials, and installing the new Pavilion and outdoor kitchen. As the projects wrapped up, Steve's team installed a new permeable pavement driveway. There are many truly remarkable things about our experience: > > 1\. While his team naturally worked to achieve high quality, Steve constantly stopped by to check the work and directed further improvements whenever something was not quite right. Pristine Acres cleared and leveled the existing yard (no easy task), put in new retaining walls, a flagstone patio, stacked stone walls and gas firepit, a multi-tier waterfall, lighting, and new plantings. The backyard came out better than we could have ever imagined - it is truly a work of art. Jeff Taphouse, the co-owner and business manager, handles the daily correspondence and was extremely prompt in answering any emails/questions we had, and was great at keeping us in the loop on next steps, daily progress, etc., and is a pleasure to deal with. Jeff also made a point to stop by almost every day to check the progress. Once work commenced, the crew was polite, courteous, worked extremely hard each day and took a lot of care in making sure the job was done well. Our project manager (also a Jeff) was great- he assisted us with any questions we had, took great care in the work he did, and ensured that everything flowed smoothly, the work was being done right, and even became our dog's best friend. Our project required them to access our yard via a neighbor's driveway and easement between the properties- they took every precaution to ensure that our neighbor's yard and driveway were not damaged. At the end of each day, the crew cleaned up the area as not to leave a mess for us or the neighbors. I could go on and on (this is already a novel), but let me leave it at their work is impeccable, their customer service fantastic, they are very well priced, and the best company we have ever worked with.
