Hi, I’m Jules Nolet, a home designer and builder from Atherton, California.  I’ve been building fine homes in the Silicon Valley for about 15 years. **Q: Cabinet colour** *(in Photo Questions)*

Why have you not responded to the cabinet colour questions? What is the colour?

A: Michelle. I’ve never had anyone ask me for information in such a petulant and demanding manner. To answer your question, I get asked this paint question weekly and I’ve answered it so many times these past few years that I feel if someone wants to know, by simply reviewing past comments, the answer can be found. Secondly, my priority is to my clients. I don’t have much time to answer all the questions I get asked. I do so when I can, especially when someone asks nicely.

**Q: Floor and hardware** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you give details on the floor and handles?

A: Floor is a stained hickory done in herringbone pattern. Hardware are solid brass from a company called Classic Brass. Pricey but worth every penny.

**Q: what color is the grout on subway tile** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Grout is just white.

**Q: Really nice windows!** *(in Photo Questions)*

What are the dimensions of the windows? And could you please say if the upper windows are awning or sliding or fixed?

A: To answer your question about the window...I don't remember off the top. But I can tell you the room is quite large with almost 12' ceiling. The picture doesn't quite show the volume of the space. Uppers as well as center are picture windows (fixed) and the two sides are casements.

Who makes this beautiful mantel?

A: This is a mid 1800 French antique marble mantel purchased during a trip to Provence.

Very beautiful! Who's the manufacturer of the wrought iron staircase? Thank you.

A: This iron/bronze rail is custom made (majority onsite) to fit the curve and descend. It may not look it on picture, but this was a particularly difficult installation. We had 6 men working on the installation alone for 2 days.
