**Q: Information on stairs?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Beautiful stairway! What is the wood of steps and risers? Looks like hickory to me. Material for hand rail, newel posts, and spindles? Are the spindles round and the newel posts square?

A: Stair wood species is Walnut.  Handrail is Walnut, guard rail is painted steel 2" x 1/2" and 1/2" x 1/2" solid stock.

Source, material for counters?  Is hood custom?  If not, where buy? Thanks

A: The counter is soapstone and the hood is custom.  Thanks for your interest!

**Q: Did you build a bay of sorts to build the cabinets into?** *(in Photo Questions)*

This is so beautiful and a great solution for our small kitchen.  Trying to figure out if you moved the sink and counters forward from the back wall to build the cabinets behind the sink...or, if you pushed out with a giant bay window of sorts to install the cabinets. Thank you for your help.

A: These are typical counter depths (24").  The glass cabinets above the sink are only 12" deep so they don't interfere with the function of the sink.

A: Thank you!  The stucco is integral color- white from La Habra.

**Q: Beautiful!  Any issue w/ ventilation/moisture between wood and house?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you!  There are no moisture or ventilation issues as the screen is 12 inches from the exterior cladding.

Is that Resysta? How does it hold up?

A: It's Ipe and is holding up great.
