**Q: Is the desk custom made, built in or stand alone?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hey Marlene. This desk is a custom made built-in for that location.

**Q: what are the products for this floor/  colors  style numbers ?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It's a custom pattern of 3 Marmoleum colors in a gold and brown bi-color 12x12 diagonal with charcoal 2" sq key tiles.

**Q: Countertop** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is it marble or granite?  What type thanks!

A: Sorry correction to this - it appeared with one of the other kitchen photos in the gallery!   This is obviously not soapstone!!  It's Calcutta Gold marble.

**Q: where is the cabinet from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The cabinets are custom made with the faux bamboo detailing taken directly from the wallpaper.  The faux bamboo wood comes half-round in 8'+ lengths that we cut down to a scale that I designed to compliment the proportions of the cabinetry and the recessed panels it is applied to.  We then did a yellowed-beige stried and glazed paint treatment with cobalt blue knockouts on the knots to replicate the treillage work on the paper.

**Q: Where can I find the chairs with the nailheads?  Look really great with my dining room table** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: We love them too!  The blue chairs with nailhead trim are called the Avalon Colette and are manufactured by Ralph Lauren.  These were sourced from Laurel's Furniture in Torrance CA so if you are LA area, they are a retail showroom open to the public.  If you're not LA local, then google the brand and style for your local retailer.

**Q: which bathroom layout is better ?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

need to decide between two bathroom layouts. option 1 gives a bigger sink / counter. option 2 may look neater. the door to the bathroom cannot be changed. the bathroom size is small only 9 X 5. on the left will be a shower with a glass partition. any ideas ?

A: If you have enough wall space to change the door to pocket then it's a whole different ballgame.  Have you talked to a professional designer about this or is this your own design plan?  These are the ideas we would be broaching which really are the difference.  Space planning is a puzzle that can make a space not just functional but provide benefits that really maximize your budget and add even more equity dollars to the money you spend on reno.
