> In preparation of listing our home in Menlo Park, we wanted to remodel our kitchen by replacing counter tops, appliances, as well as drawers and doors on our existing kitchen cabinet boxes. Greg Hendricker, owner of Bauhaus Craftsman, Inc, came highly recommended. We met with Greg within a day of contacting him. During our meeting, he recommended replacing the cabinet doors and drawers, which would be less expensive than replacing all of the cabinets. We agreed with his approach and he provided us a quote within a couple of business days. The project had a tight deadline, which Greg confirmed was acceptable. Greg had to coordinate with me, the other vendors and the real estate agent on a number of variables. In addition to staying on time and on budget, we are extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Greg is an ex-technology executive and it shows in his professional approach to both the job and the client.  I highly recommend Greg and Bauhaus.

These projects included custom sizes, custom layouts, unique drawer within drawer configurations, metallic flake color, dyed wood grain finish and complicated floating wall installs. His team always arrived prepared and were efficient with installation, which minimized the impact to my schedule. They communicated professionally with my contractor so parallel construction work was ever impacted. They viewed change orders as "enhancement requests" and offered their design experience to help me make good decisions. I usually do my own work, but after some job analysis Bauhaus beat my job cost with faster product delivery. Support does not stop after the install and Greg is quick to respond back regarding questions.

We also hired them to build a bar for a commercial space in a winery tasting room.  They did an amazing job on all of the work.  Bauhaus is incredible at all phases of the project -- the design, the building and all the small details.  Greg is fully committed to making it look the best it can  and that is why every project that Bauhaus does is such high quality.   All the projects came in on budget and Greg and his team are also very nice to work with. I would highly recommend Bauhaus Craftsman and will use them again in the future!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Have barn boards in my house** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is there any finish that can be applied to seal wood? Is this cabinet left plain?

A: The wire brush is used to get 200 years of dirt off and get rid of some of the splinters.  If you don't think a wire brush will work then maybe a palm sander (slow) or orbital with 220 grit and a light touch can clean things up pretty well.
