They recently did my garage floor. I questioned some areas when i looked at it. The guy said it was just the glare of the sun. Days later when i fully opened the garage door and looked at it it was concrete. No product. Another area has no product. They are completely unresponsive. Then they say to fix it it will be three or four months. When i gave pushback they were going to make it sooner and would call me back. They never called back. When I followed up again I was told it would be a 250 dollar service fee for something the wasn’t done right the first time. Two of my neighbors were going to use them for their garage floors until this horrible experience. They have no customer service. Ariana says she is the highest you can go in the company. Tony Scarletta is the owner/ manager, but she said he doesn’t take calls from customers. HORRIBLE Company. Buyer BEWARE!!! **★ — Lauren Roth, Sept. 2021** > Do not use Encore - they are dishonorable. I had Encore apply epoxy floor coating. They told us that after 24 hours of the coating we should be able to walk on the floor. however, after 24 hours the floor was still soaking wet. I called to inquire about this. Instead of sending someone out to look at it immediately they told me to open my garage door to let it air out. I waited another day or so and tried again. It was still wet. By this point it was the weekend, and it happened to be labor day weekend so the company was not open again until Tuesday (6 days after they completed the job). When I called Tuesday to explain that my garage was still wet a representative came to my home and acknowledged that they had mixed the formula incorrectly. He explained that they would have to grind the garage floor down (back to the way it was before the floor coating process) and they would then have to apply the coating all over again. If the process had been done correctly the first time I would have had the use of my garage within 72 hours. Given the mishap, I ended up not having the use of my garage for 10 days. I live on a busy street in the city and parking is not plentiful. I have 3 small children that I have to constantly drive around and each time I left my parking spot I had to find another one. Often, I ended up having to pay for parking near my house. I also received a parking ticket. Aside from the hassle associated with not having parking for my cars for 10 days, I also experienced damage to my home as a result of my husband testing the garage floor only to have it continue to be wet. Each time it pierced through his shoes and he tracked the liquid that they coat the garage with into our house which was very difficult to clean up. When the representative came to my house I explained this to him. I told him I wanted to speak with someone from Encore with authority to discuss a discount for my troubles. He responded that he was that person and that I would receive a discount. When I did not receive a discount I called the company directly. The woman who answers the phones told me that she knew I was entitled to a discount and that the owner of the company planned to call me to discuss. He never called me. I called again. The same woman answered and I told her that I felt ignored, that I was getting a run around and that I did not appreciate that I was promised a discount and that no one had reached out to me. > Still, I heard nothing. I tried calling back but they were screening my calls so I left them a voicemail stating that I was promised a discount and that I was receiving terrible customer service. one of the managers wrote me an email. The email was antagonistic. He told me that the representative who promised me a discount was not authorized to do so and said he refused to give me a discount. He offered no apologies. Regardless if your project entails just sealing and coating the garage floor (which came out beautiful) or going all out as I believe I did by adding cabinets with a built-in Flat Panel TV, built-in 36” Sub Zero freezer, floor to ceiling wall system and being in the Chicago suburbs, two (2) gas fired heaters it really makes the garage feel more like an addition to you house then a garage.
