Kristin presents herself as a savvy businesswoman, and her website is designed to lure you into purchasing based on polished photographs. However, what you receive does not match what is shown online. > > I expected a sleek, well-designed piece, exactly as photographed on the website. What I received looked noticeably different in structure and overall appearance. As soon as I saw the photos of the finished piece, I told Kristin that I didn’t like it because it was not what I bought or paid for. The product was misrepresented, plain and simple. > > What followed were months of back-and-forth. I repeatedly asked for a bed made exactly as shown on her website. She ultimately admitted she couldn’t do that. Only then did she agree to issue a refund, and even that took far too long. > > If you’re looking for a sleek, well-made piece of furniture that matches what you see online, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. Her delivery guys scratched up my bed and did not assemble the bed as promised despite me paying for this service. The Bed came in damaged and Kristian sent her friend over to fix this bed with wood glue which failed under 2 months. The headboard has a screw, where the hole was drilled to big, so the screw will not stay in and therefore the feet keep will not stay screwed into the headboard. I almost lost my cat when a friend came over and worked on my bed for 6 hours. He could not believe how bad the quality of the bed is and the money I spent to buy this bed. The bed squeaks and and constantly makes noises every time you roll over. The bed moves back and forth on the slats which is making the slats wear out very easily. When the bed moves back and forth all the time, the feet that keep the bed from falling are bent. I try to hit the feet with a broom, but they are bent so badly that they won't stay straight. I am so scared that I am going to lose one of my pets that sleeps under the bed. The bed is not stable and the not made for a heavy mattress. I have a King Tempur-Pedic mattress. The bed moves back and forth constantly that I have to move my pillow all night. When you wake up in the morning the fitted sheet looks terrible. I have asked for refund several times but Kristian is very difficult. I spent almost $4900 on this bed. If I had to move this bed would not make the move because it has so many defective parts. It would be nice if the feet would screw into the bolt and stay in place. The bed is too long and that must be the reason why the slats move back and forth. Overtime the bed slats are getting weak. This bed is a nightmare and I spend more time adjusting this bed everyday. I miss my old bed that was $1500. I spend a lot of time everyday on this bed. What a pain! The Charles Bed is cheaply made and should be removed from her line of beds. I would try another one of Kristian's bed since the Charles Bed is a complete failure. The Charles Bed has a design problem. Buyer beware!!!! In addition to being a true partner in this significant renovation, Kristin is an incredibly talented interior design professional. If so, what size tiles and how did you attach them to the wall? A: We cut mirrors and applied it like tile. **Q: Love the counter stools!** *(in Photo Questions)* Really like the stools. Who makes them and do they come in other colors or finishes? A: They are the Tuck Stools and can be purchased at www.kristindrohancollection.com. There are several fabric and finish options available and we also do COM. If you can't find a fabric you like on the site email us for help. We have a lot of other options. **Q: Beige Paint Color** *(in Photo Questions)* I see that it is a custom color, and close to Behr deer run. Can you share any more about the color - the mix, brand used, or how you made it custom. Paint is so tricky and one little thing can completely change it. I am struggling with a beige for our exterior. Thank you! A: Since it was over brick it is an elastomeric paint. Not sure of the brand. **Q: Stunning vanity!** *(in Photo Questions)* What vendor is the vanity from? A: This was custom done by a local cabinet shop. **Q: Love the Floors** *(in Photo Questions)* What type of floor sis you use for this project? A: No idea, it was chosen by the builder. **Q: where is fireplace from?** *(in Photo Questions)* Thanks A: It was there when the house was purchase and we installed the marble surround.
