> High Gate did a fantastic job!!  We needed brand new  hardwood to be installed and integrated with our older hardwood. The floors came out spectacular!!  Can not tell where the old & new hardwood was integrated. Thrilled with the entire job.

> Horrible. High Gate Wood Floors (Paul) refinished wood floors in my home. The end result was that the area had two very distinct tones instead of being the same tone, when my specific request was a uniform look. Paul insisted that there was no way for them to look similar because they were different cuts of wood, and that they had looked different before. They had looked \*slightly\* different before, however now they look light vs dark in a very weird and jarring way. He had also not said that this would be the outcome. Then Paul became angry with me saying "How can you not look at this and say it's beautiful", pointing at \*one\* color of the wood, when I was telling him clearly that I was not happy that there were \*two colors\*. He left saying he had done what he was told to do and its fine if I am unhappy with the work.
> I felt demeaned and disrespected. If you are a woman I would not recommend working with him.
> And, the end result was very jarring and weird. So really if you want high quality work and ownership of the outcome of the work to be a high quality and to have a satisfied customer, do not work with Paul and High Gate Floors.
