Your home is a respite from the world and we believe everyone deserves a place they love coming back to at the end of the day. It should be a reflection of your own lifestyle and personality, not ours. At Pamela Neel Interiors, we work hard to make that happen for each and every client, regardless of scope. Changing the way our clients feel about their living spaces brings us great joy; we want you to love it!

Our interior design concepts address the challenges our clients face and produce beautiful, functional, livable spaces. Many of our clients find they are short on time, are flooded with options, and have unanswered decorating questions, making the process feel overwhelming. At PNI, we strive to enhance and simplify the entire interior design and decorating process ultimately helping our clients save time and money and avoid costly mistakes. We believe that working with a designer should be fun and collaborative; it isn’t something that should ever feel intimidating or uncomfortable.

Each project and each client is uniquely different from one another. All clients are in various stages of the “design lifecycle,” which means we always have various starting points, from a design perspective. Some projects may be larger in scope and include multiple rooms, others may be smaller and address a single room at a time. We invite you to visit our website to see a full description of our service offerings:
\- Full-Service Design and Decorating
\- Interior Design and Decorating Consulting
\- Materials and Finishes Consulting
\- Consulting Retainer Package

At PNI, we don’t have a “signature style”, our goal is to guide our clients to their own style. Whether you lean toward transitional, coastal, mid-century modern, contemporary, or you’re not sure what your style is, we’ll help you achieve the look you want.

Bring us your design challenges or imperfections (as some of our clients call them). Let us see what your space can be, not what it is.

**★★★★★ — Joan Manley, March 2018**

> My experience with Pam was not only everything I hoped for, it was much more. I can't recommend her enough to anyone who is building a house, or decorating a home. I selected Pam after (1) realizing my collection of home decorating books and magazines never really taught me how to bring textures, materials, and colors together; and (2) pouring over websites of various interior designers in Jax, seeking one who conveyed warmth, class, and style. By working with Pam I can honestly say that I avoided making stupid, and costly, design decisions. Decisions that would have left me full of regret. More importantly, the vision that I have for my home is actually going to be realized, and I'm not going to end up with a hodge lodge disaster (which I sensed was exactly where I was heading, cue the sleepless nights). The style of my house is not typical for the area, and has been difficult to convey to others during this process. Pam, however, through a series of thoughtful questions, was able to help ME better understand my own vision for the house, and then help guide me to bring that vision to life. This particular talent of Pam's is rare and exceedingly valuable. In sum, if you need a gifted professional designer, who strives to bring your vision to life, you owe it to yourself to seek Pam out..

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Joan,
> Thank you so much for the kind words and your comments. I really enjoyed meeting your family and I am thrilled that you found both our time together and our process helpful. Our \#1 priority is ensuring that clients who are updating, remodeling or building avoid the costly design mistakes that can so often be prevented with some pre-planning. I have no doubt things will turn out great because of your dedication to the design and commitment to planning. I love the quote by Ralph Caplan “thinking about design is hard, but not thinking about it can be disastrous.”
>
> I do hope you will reconnect should you need more assistance as your home gets further along. I am excited to see your vision realized!!

> Pam was fantastic to work with. She was incredibly patient, answered all of my questions, and took the time to make sure I made the right decisions for my home. She carefully explained the pros and cons of different options and made sure I fully understood my choices before moving forward. I highly recommend Pam to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and thoughtful designer.

> Pam was a tremendous help in designing my family room, kitchen, dining room, hallway and foyer. We accomplished so much in the 2 hour consultation! She came well prepared and was familiar with my Houzz idea book. I had all my questions ready and we covered each one - I feel more confident going forward that I can pull these open areas together (avoiding mistakes) with her suggestions. Pam is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for any of your design needs.

> The design consultation was WORTH EVERY PENNY! In particular I was trying to solve the riddle of the rug size in my living room; and walking through the options and visualizing with Pamela helped me tremendously; and mostly from spending unnecessary money on something that might not enhance the space! Beyond that, we discussed how to dress windows with a challenging configuration, and some concepts for a few other small spaces that helped me rule out certain ideas and move forward on others. Her thoughts on what I was trying to do got me out of being stuck and able to proceed with confidence. She is an incredible listener, is extremely knowledgeable and such a nice person! Highly recommend enlisting her to help!

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you! Really appreciate the kind words. It is so nice to know that someone, like yourself, who is quite design savvy can still benefit from an in-home design consultation. It goes to show that we can all get "stuck" from time to time with our home decor choices... and that seeking a professional opinion and a different perspective can be useful. You have made some great choices thus far and your beautiful home absolutely reflects that!

**★★★★★ — Karen Sears, Dec. 2025**

> I recently had a wonderful consultation with Pam Neel. She was thoughtful and incredibly helpful, and I walked away with quite a few notes and a clear vision for updating my older home. Unlike in newer homes, where families are looking to add character, in my home, there is an abundance of character, and the ultimate goal is to tone things down and let certain architectural features stand out. The guidance felt both practical and actionable, and I’m excited to start making updates with her recommendations in mind.

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you for the opportunity to help! Love that you felt the advice was both practical and actionable. That is always our goal... with each and every design consultation!

**★★★★★ — HU-547167686, Oct. 2025**

> Pam was so gracious and patient! I was all over the place and asked a million questions bouncing from one topic to another. She not not only kept up with all of my inquiries she made sure to circle back so that she didn’t leave anything unanswered. She gave me plenty of options to think about.
>
> She was upfront in the beginning with costs and timing which I greatly appreciated after having a not so great experience in the last with someone else.
>
> Highly recommend Pam for any of your needs.

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Really enjoyed our time together! Thank you so much for the kind words. Please don't hesitate to reach out -- if any additional questions pop up or we can be of further service to you!

> I have had the pleasure of working with Pamela Neel Interiors for over 10 years and 2 houses. Recently I had Pam help me refresh a bathroom, laundry room and great room. From the start she understood my style and preferences and made the whole process very collaborative. She helped source wallpaper, rugs, new chairs and pillows that all flowed together. What stands out the most is her professionalism and the seamless way she coordinated the paper hangers, the vendors and the delivery company. It made the whole process stress free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Pamela Neel Interiors to anyone and I can’t wait to use her again.

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Susie, I can't thank you enough for your comments and of course, your continued business all these years! I cant believe it has been over 10 years since we first met! You know... I absolutely love an opportunity to work together and I'm always excited when you have a new design project for us.

**★★★★★ — Millerloux Loux, Dec. 2024**

> Our master bedroom and guest bedroom are absolutely STUNNING!
> My husband and I recently hired Pam Neel to design our master bedroom and a guest room in our home. This is the 2nd project we have worked on with Pam Neel Interiors. We previously hired Pam to design our condo in St. Augustine. She did such an amazing job with the condo that we had no doubt she would do the same for us in our home. Pam is so talented! Her eye for design and her design knowledge are exceptional. Pam is so easy to work with and made the design process so easy for us. She is extremely organized and pays great attention to detail. We have an extremely awkward staircase that had to be considered when choosing all the furniture. She measured everything several times and resolved the issue by hiring an expert to hoist the larger furniture over a balcony into our loft to bypass the staircase. Our master bedroom and guest room look like they should be on the cover of a magazine. They are simply gorgeous and turned out better than we could have imagined. We will definitely use Pam for any future projects that we do. Thank you for everything, Pam!
> We highly recommend Pam Neel and we are confident you will love working with her.

**★★★★★ — Holly Polf, May 2024**

> Pamela came to our new beach home that we have listed on Airbnb to help me think of ways to improve the overall look of the home for our family and for guests. The home came furnished and is a fairly recent build. I knew it didn't need a complete renovation but there were some things that just "didn't look right". Having her design expertise to advise me on some of the thoughts and ideas I had considered was invaluable. She has ability to see what will work in a space and what won't work in a space that can save you tons of money if you consult with her prior to making any changes. I came away from our meeting with multiple actionable items that I can do to improve the look of the home while staying within a budget. I am very grateful for Pamela's expertise and will definitely be consulting with her again before I make any major decorating changes to the beach home or to my primary home!

**★★★★★ — pvblady, Feb. 2024**

> I had a design consultation with Pam and she is amazing! I’ve never used an interior designer before and it was so insightful. My needs were centered around furniture selection and placement. She made me understand what else goes into this decision and saved me from so many mistakes. Her fee will honestly save me so much money long term. I cannot recommend her enough and look forward to working with her more on other projects.

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Appreciate your comments so much! I am so glad that you found our time together so helpful. Thank you for sharing and yes, there is often so much more to making smart decorating/design decisions.... than people often realize. Your home and the "setting" is BEAUTIFUL and I have no doubt that you will be able to add those finishing touches and love your home even more!

**★★★★★ — donna gunion, Nov. 2023**

> In October, 2023 we moved out of a 3300 SF home and into a 1750 SF home.. First off, what were we thinking?? Remind me (every day) WHY we did this?!
> We brought tooo much furniture and needless to say I have been overwhelmed with what to get rid of and how to achieve the look
> I want.
> Well, the calvary arrived at my front door yesterday in the form of Pam Neel. I reached out to her based on her reviews. She called me back and we chatted for quite awhile, and she suggested I go on HOUZZ and look at rooms I needed help with, save them and she would have a look before we got together so she had a sense of my taste.
>
> She arrived on time and we got down to it almost immediately. The three hours we spent together were eye opening and nerve settling. She told me where to begin and where not to begin. What to do first and what to do last so I don't "back into" a situation.
> I was getting ready to do things in the wrong order..
>
> We reviewed my saves on HOUZZ and looked at what made sense for MY house and why. Everything she said made sense. Now I am ready to move forward with some choices I was afraid to execute.
>
> It was a most pleasant experience meeting Pam. Her patience and experience of nearly 20 years were exactly what I needed to get moving on my project.
> DG

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> It was such a pleasure meeting you Donna! I am so glad that you found our time together helpful.
>
> It is overwhelming enough to move.. and then -- to have to juggle how to blend
> your previous home's items into a new home - all the while making some style updates. This can be quite challenging! You are way ahead of the game by knowing what design elements are needed and/or missing to create the WOW -- and, you know what you like! That's a great place to start!
> Happy decorating...

**★★★★★ — McCarthy, Oct. 2023**

> Pamela came to my home for a two-hour consultation yesterday. I am still in awe of all the great ideas she came up with to unify my challenging great room space. She also helped me pull together our primary suite, guest suite and powder room. I wish I had contacted her sooner, before I made some of the decisions I made on my own! But I have already implemented some of her suggestions and I’m so happy with the noticeable improvement. I feel as though I now have a great plan in place to make my home decor something to be proud of. Thanks so much, Pam!

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you for the kind words. I so enjoyed meeting you and really appreciate the opportunity to help! It's so easy to get "stuck" with design/decorating choices -- and sometimes, it helps to just "talk it out" and get a fresh perspective. That makes me so happy that you have already been able to successfully implement some of the suggestions -- that we discussed!

**★★★★★ — Chelsea Knox, Sept. 2023**

> I had the chance to meet with Pamela today for a consultation, specifically to discuss some areas in our house that we haven't been able to figure out the best way to lay out. Prior to the consultation, I spoke with Pamela on the phone for an overview of what we were looking for. She followed up quickly with emails, and sent reminders and confirmations for the appointment. She was on-time and prepared for the appointment; familiar with the spaces from the photos I had sent, and with the things I had saved on the vision board; and even had some sketches of ideas for the space.
>
> She was able to provide me with some really good guidance on how to lay out a difficult space in the house. She really listened to the needs and wants of our family to provide recommendations that met our needs. She gave me a lot of valuable information on how to go about creating those spaces on my own; since we weren't looking to do full design services. She was able to answer all my questions fully and professionally and took the time to make sure I understood terms and ideas that may not have been familiar. I really felt like once she left I had a good direction to go in to create a beautiful, functional space.

**★★★★★ — Holly Lean, Sept. 2023**

> Pam has been a joy to work with! She had me use Houzz to build inspiration boards and to get a sense of my style and it was so helpful in her choosing the right furniture and fixtures for our new home. Pam designed, decorated, and space planned our kitchen, dining room, great room, and foyer (all the common areas) and we could not be happier with how it turned out! She was always punctual, professional, provided status updates, set clear expectations on next steps, and all of the vendors she works with were amazing too!! She also advised on fixtures and planning at our builders design center so that everything came out looking fabulous! Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pam and her team and so if you are looking for someone to be your design champion and deliver on your vision, you MUST choose Pam! When we are ready to furnish other areas of the house, she will be my first phone call:)

**★★★★★ — Maryclare McAfee, Sept. 2023**

> Pam has a great eye for design and did a phenomenal job transforming our family room and living room. Our family room has a challenging layout but she created a space that is both beautiful and functional. Pam is currently assisting us with a few other rooms in our home and we highly recommend her!

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you Maryclare! So glad that you are pleased with the results. I have really enjoyed working together on the last few projects and look forward to our next transformation!

**★★★★★ — Millerloux Loux, April 2023**

> My husband and I bought a condo in St. Augustine, FL and decided to gut the entire thing. After the construction phase was finished (much later than expected due to supply chain issues and materials being extremely hard to find), it became clear to me that I needed to hire someone to help with the interior design part of the renovation. I can’t begin to express how thankful I am to have found Pam Neel. She is absolutely wonderful to work with and has an amazing eye for design. She is very professional, detail-oriented, budget conscious, and just a really great person.
> The design selection process could have been difficult due to Covid and the supply chain delays it created, but Pam made it so easy for me. She presented a few options for me to consider but not so many that I felt overwhelmed. She made the process less stressful and actually quite fun. She always kept me updated on shipping and delivery of the items and coordinated everything. She did a fantastic job.
>
> I wanted the design of the condo to be simple, beautiful and timeless, but I also needed it to be functional, practical and kid-friendly. She definitely helped me accomplish my goal and I absolutely love everything!
>
> I would highly recommend Pam to anyone looking for design expertise. I can’t thank her enough for her time and effort in making our condo so beautiful and I can’t wait to work on more projects with her in the future.

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Hi Angela.. Can't thank you enough for your kind words. You have been such a delight to work with! I am thrilled that we were able to help you to transform the condo into a stylish and yet, super livable space for your family. I do love the way it all came together..... doesn't even resemble the place we walked into on Day One! Really enjoyed getting to know you and looking forward to our future projects!

**★★★★★ — Leo Lumermann, April 2023**

> Pamela Neel recently designed and decorated our bedroom with such impeccable style and precision. From the moment we first spoke, Pamela's passion for her craft and dedication to creating beautiful, functional spaces was clear.
>
> Pamela spent a considerable amount of time speaking with us about our preferences, discussing colors, materials, and styles to ensure that she fully understood our vision for the space. Her attention to detail was impressive, and she worked tirelessly to obtain our preferences little by little, building a plan that was perfectly tailored to our taste.
>
> What struck us most about Pamela's work was her incredible ability to hit the nail on the head immediately. She seemed to intuitively understand our style and preferences, and her choices were always spot-on. Every element of the design was perfectly curated, from the furniture and accessories to the colors and textures.
>
> The final result was simply stunning. Our bedroom now looks and feels like a professionally furnished space that we are proud to call our own. Pamela's expertise and dedication to her craft were evident throughout the entire process, and we could not be more grateful for the beautiful transformation she created.
>
> Overall, we would highly recommend Pamela to anyone looking for an interior designer who truly cares about creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Her work is truly exceptional, and we are so grateful for the amazing job she did with our bedroom. Thank you, Pamela!

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you so much Leo!
> I can't thank you enough for the kind words. We are so fortunate -- to do what brings us joy every day -- but when our clients say we "nailed it" and their vision for the space was realized.. we couldn't ask for anything more! I have so enjoyed working with you both. I really love how things have come together in a sophisticated and stylish way, but yet super functional as well.
>
> Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to help!

**★★★★★ — lynntmangan, June 2022**

> Pamela provided a two-hour consultation that was tremendously helpful! My daughter just bought a condo and I was concerned we would make big mistakes and waste money on renovations that she definitely needs. Pamela's excellent and we are grateful for her help.

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you Lynn.. really enjoyed meeting you both. So glad you felt that our time together was useful and productive. Good luck to you and Julia on the renovations!

**★★★★★ — Lisa Anderson, March 2022**

> My husband and I made the decision to downsize. We moved into a home we love though it has a few challenges with the layout. It also has a recessed area in the family room in which there are a lot of options for personalizing. My thoughts were all over the place as to where to begin making this house our own. I consulted with Pam. She helped me organize my thoughts so that I can put a plan into place. So glad we were able to meet. Now, on to the next steps!

**★★★★★ — Joan Radice, Feb. 2022**

> I recently purchased a new construction house with an open concept floor plan. I reached out to Pam for some much needed guidance on putting these rooms together. Pam responded quickly and on our initial phone call spent a good deal of time asking questions about our issues and expectations. I hired Pam for the 2 hour design consultation. The Houzz app allowed me to share some room ideas with her. We had purchased some furniture and lighting fixtures prior to contacting Pam. The ideal situation would have been to call in the expert initially, before making any purchases, but Pam was honest and informative and was able to guide us through each space with some great design advice. She answered all my questions including colors, wall decor, window treatments, furniture placement. She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I’m excited to be able to finish this project with the expert design ideas that Pam provided!

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you Joan. I'm so glad that you felt our time together was helpful! As mentioned, having a decorating game plan in place is always a sound strategy! Your new home is beautiful and I know it will all come together as you continue to make selections and finish things out.

**★★★★★ — Lisa Urbanek, April 2021**

> We have just finished building our dream home and I was feeling exhausted and overwhelmed after this nearly 3 year process! We had three floors to decorate and needed almost all new furniture. Pam saved my sanity helping me with the entire house. We have a narrow lot and definitely had some spacing issues. She is wonderful with listening to what you want and needed determines what size furniture will fit in your space and then researches options for you. She always gave me lots of options to choose from so i was still very much a part of the process! She responds quickly and keeps you informed throughout the project. There have been shortages and long lead times with Covid, but Pam has followed up and even found other options for us in case we wanted to change course. I can't recommend Pam enough!

**★★★★★ — joyhughes, April 2021**

> I want to tell you what a wonderful value it was having a consultation with Pam . My husband and I were trying to buy a waterfront house in this crazy market and had made several offers unsuccessfully. We ended up feeling pressured into buying a house that needed a lot of work and that I really didn't care for regarding the lay out. The flow of the house didn't work for me and I felt stuck.
>
> I have never been in a place financially where I could spend the kind of money that that hiring a designer would normally require. But I knew I was going to have to do something and crying about my purchase, while perhaps therapeutic, did not solve my problem. It occurred to me that I didn't need to hire a designer to furnish and renovate, but I definitely needed a designer to give me some professional opinions on what would help this house flow and feel inviting-which it most definitely did not.
>
> I reached out to Pam through Houzz. I felt immensely relieved when she agreed to meet with me. And the whole process was so helpful. From the homework she gave me prior to meeting, to the actual 2 hour consultation, the whole process grounded me and really ended up being the most valuable time and money spent. I decided that since I was paying her to give me trained and professional advice-that I would listen and try to apply everything she imparted to me in the two hours.
>
> When she arrived I threw every concern I had at her, talking a million miles a minute as I knew two hours just wasn't enough. She didn't bat an eye. She jumped right into my chaos and addressed and validated my every concern with grace and understanding. She made a daunting task manageable. And while I made mistakes it certainly turned out better with the consult than I could have ever done on my own and I went from hating the house to loving it. Thank you Pam!

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you Joy for the kind words. I really enjoyed being a small part of your new home's transformation.
> As we chatted about, I knew this was a VERY “tall order” for you to be able to clean, repair/paint, furnish and decorate this "new to you" home in 2 weeks... while you were "in" from out of town!
>
> I felt that you could be up against some real challenges with a seemingly impossible short timeline and (what I suspected might be) limited "covid-related" inventory levels in stores -- but you really rose to the challenge. Design/decorating can often require compromise – because there are so many factors in play -- unless of course, money is no object and you have unlimited resources and time. (not the case for many!)
>

> Pam was a great sounding board to share my ideas. Many people are afraid to hire a designer or decorator because of the cost, but working with one can actually save you money in the end. Working with pam was especially helpful, as she is available on a consultation-basis, which is a great option if one is on a limited budget or already has ideas in progress. Pam is easy to talk to, open to sharing ideas, and has a great design aesthetic.

> I engaged Pam for a consultation. She spent more than 30 minutes on the phone before the in home meeting, really trying to understand what I want to accomplish as was as advising me about the process. During the in-home meeting she, we walked the rooms and discussed some of the challenges and options for the space. What I enjoyed about our conversation was her taking "real life" into consideration (dogs, kids, etc). She was relatable and professional and left me with some great ideas on how to approach my projects. I plan on engaging her for future consultations.

> I met with Pam for three hours. Her creative mind was going nonstop during this time! Every minute was worth it as we went through and discussed changes to the kitchen, bathroom and master bath. I know what I don't want, but sometimes I do not know what I want. I don't have the vision. Pam brings this unique talent to you. And what is most important is that she listens to you... the customer, to make sure her recommendations are in alignment with your taste, preferences and budget. In fact, I had to do some home work and send her ideas and current pictures of my home as it presently exists. This way she could maximize her time during the consultation by already knowing my needs and having insight of my taste. Pam has an excellent reputation and I have known of the high accolades she has earned from previous customers throughout previous years. I am so pleased I finally got to meet her in person. I strongly recommend Pam Neel Interiors!! You will not be disappointed!

> We recently purchased a home in the St. Augustine area. The flow of the home was a little challenging to say the least. We needed help and idea generation on how to define the space for certain rooms, what paint colors and shaped rugs to use, and window treatment ideas. All of these elements were discussed to help make our Spanish Mediterranean home come to life. We were concerned about making a costly mistake and didn’t feel comfortable making a decision until we hired a professional.
> We were told about Pam from a friend and decided to give her a call. She was very prompt, professional, warm and friendly. Her perspective and experience was a tremendous help in providing the necessary vision and recommendations to making the transition challenges a little less difficult. We would highly recommend her and look forward to working with her in the future.

> My husband and I moved into a contemporary home and we were stuck on how to decorate. We met with Pam for a consultation on how to proceed and she provided us with a number of valuable ideas, ways to arrange the furniture that we had not thought about, types of fabrics and colors to focus on. Pam is very easy to talk with, she is straight forward in her approach, and very knowledgeable on design concepts. Our timeline for furniture, drape and rug purchases is still a few months away, and we will be calling upon Pam again when we are ready to move forward with our project. Even with her very busy calendar she was able to work to get me scheduled sooner based on trades we already had in the works on our home. She provided great advice and was very well organized. She came prepared to our meeting so we didn't have down time looking things up or me retelling the problem/issues. I would highly recommend using Pam. > I had a really great experience working first with Pam for a “small” job, which then ultimately lead to a much larger project down the road. Initially, I needed to find a local designer to help create a big picture interior design plan for a new house build: choosing tile, cabinetry, flooring, etc.
> Once the house was almost complete, we again worked together to make selections (furniture, lighting, draperies, decor etc) for the kitchen, dining room, great room, and powder room.
> Initially I spoke with Pam to review my goals and style preferences. We used Houzz Ideabooks to best convey ideas. Then Pam presented back a plan which included space layout. We also worked together at a local furniture store to review specific items.
> Overall I found Pam was very good at responding to what I was looking for and what would work well for our lifestyle - she identified the best options and offered multiple alternatives based on my budget.
> The final product exceeds my families hopes for the new home.

Decorating is far from my expertise, and I was honestly nervous about contacting someone in fear I’d be spending buckets of money we don’t currently have (to spend on such projects). Pam is skilled enough to work with anyone, any project, and any budget. Whether your budget is $1000 or $10,000 she’ll be able to guide you with ideas or help you throughout the entire project. Right now my husband and I have decided to take her fantastic ideas and see what we can do on our own. We honestly had no idea what to expect from our time with her but she asked us to come up with idea books prior to the meeting to help with the conversation. We received a lot of good feedback from her including a warning to not pick your paint color first but rather last. She helped us review items we liked to determine if they were appropriate for the space. She recommended having an inspiration piece to build the rooms around. > I install all types of draperies, shades and blinds. I have worked with Pam for years. Her design work is always right on point. She reflects the customers lifestyle and environment in all the design work executed on site. My work experience with Pam has been exceptional. In order for a job to be completed to meet the customers expectations, I need to know what the overall look is to represent. Pam is extraordinarily thorough in her instructions. I know from the very beginning what the ultimate goal/look is to be. Pam often includes me in the planning and measuring, especially in unusual or technical applications and installations. I have found her to be open to my suggestions, so that the look she wants to achieve can actually be properly installed and function flawlessly. Working with Pam is, and always has been a pleasant experience. I know this often happens without the customer ever seeing all the puzzle pieces. > My husband and I are building our dream house. After signing the contract, we were told we could visit the design center before the first design review. After the first two-hour session, we were so overwhelmed that my husband suggested we look for a designer to assist us. I found Pamela Neel on Houzz. Pamela and I first spoke on the phone and reviewed what my husband I were trying to accomplish. I explained the first thing was the selection process for the house. She came to the next session with the builder and then her next step was for her to see my current home and what we were planning to bring to the new home. Pamela then met us at our subsequent planned meetings with the builder at the design center and gave us good advice on design, color and style. When we got to the lighting phase, I did an initial selection with the representative at the lighting store and sent Pamela the link to review the choices. Pamela and I then met at the store to review the finishes. She has helped us immensely from the color selection to the flow of the pattern of the tile throughout the house and matching the right color for carpet for in adjoining rooms. She has given us “the big picture” of the flow of color and style as we move through the house so it is consistent. We are now discussing the next phases of our house project – selecting the pool and pavers next and then afterwards the interior furnishings. She spells out the options a client has very well so they can select the best path to take for their project and budget. She is very project plan oriented and organized and emphasizes that the client needs to have a budget to work around. It has been a pleasure working with Pamela her organization and attention to detail has made this purchase much less stressful than it started it out to be!
>
> We met in June 2017 for furniture selection and Pam was organized and had fabric samples and some ideas already picked out when I arrived. In one day we ordered TV, kitchen a and game room furniture. In another stage we used the selected fabrics from the furniture to do the drapes. The furniture came in stages as it was constructed from the various companies and everything started to fall into place. The drapes are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I have privacy sheers that are well hidden. The powder bath was a "mini project" that Pam and I worked on - she found a great washable sea grass and mirror to go with the the light I found for the bath. Her amazing installer Pat Sullivan even matched paint on the screws of the covered outlets so they matched!
>
> Pam and the people that work with her pay attention to detail, quality and deliver on time and do follow-up. Our house is what we wanted - a relaxing place to visit with a comfortable TV room, a great TV room adjoining the kitchen. Our furniture is of good quality and will last. I hope to do some more "mini-projects" in my house with Pam and her team! We love our new home!

After coming across Pamela's profile on Houzz, I decided to reach out to her with some high-level questions to understand how the process works. Pamela was MORE than accommodating!
>
> She spent a generous amount of time with me to explain how the process works from project conception to completion. She was clear and concise when explaining how the design fees are assessed, the protocol for procuring products for clients and the full scope of services that her company is able to offer.
>
> After talking with Pamela, I have a MUCH clearer picture of where I need to go from here in terms of design possibilities and budget.

> Pam is the best! This was my second time working with Pam and her team. For this project, our open plan kitchen/family room needed updating to be more family-friendly and "light" without doing any major remodeling. Due to the traditional style of existing cabinetry and fireplace, this was difficult task. It was also crucial to balance function and style as this is where my family spends most of our time. To achieve these design goals, Pam introduced design elements and new ideas that had not even been considered originally. In addition, her expertise and guidance helped me through the selection process of furniture upholstery, pillow fabrics, window treatments and rugs. The final project scope included custom lighting plan, refinishing kitchen island, updating kitchen/family room wall finishes, rugs, all new furniture, window treatments, custom art for fireplace and accessories. The end result was beyond my wildest expectations-beautiful and modern, yet functional for a growing family. Can't say enough good things about Pam and her team. When the next house project comes up, I know that she is the expert I will call. I highly recommend Pam for anyone looking for a design expert for a project or consultation. > This has been our second experience working with Pam Neel and both have been a pleasure. For our most recent project in the summer of 2015, we worked with Pam on a light remodel of our kitchen- counters, backsplash, cabinet hardware, appliances and accessories. Pam is extremely organized- confirming appointments and offering realistic deadlines for project completion. She does a great deal of homework prior to appointments. For example, she spent hours looking at counter tops and backsplash that would coordinate with our existing cabinetry and tile flooring. As a result, meetings with her were streamlined and the choices were not overwhelming. Pam is dependable and checked in often during the installation process. She works with a client's budget, lifestyle, and tastes. Would love to hire Pam for another room/project. Highly recommended.

> My husband and I are extremely happy with the the transformation of our Dining room and Study. Our Dining room was dark and outdated. I wanted to be able to keep my dining room furniture, but yet have it updated and lightened up. Pamela Neel was able to accomplish this easily and made a dramatic difference in this room. We also had Pamela design our study during this time as well. The room had worn carpeting and outdated built ins. Pamela was able to take our needs and our design style and apply it to this room. Our study is amazing with new floors, wall coverings, drapes, and furniture that is beautiful and functional! I would recommend Pamela Neel Interiors for all your design needs. Pamela sticks to an agreed upon budget and time table. We can't wait to use her services again for our next project.

> Review written 2017: since we have worked with pam on living and dining rooms and loved the end result, we decided to continue working on our study and formal dining. We continue to be very happy with the results. Pam and her team are amazing at what they do!

> Review Written 2015:We recently hired Pam Neel for a design consultation for our home. She arrived on time for our meeting and came highly prepared to answer all of our design questions! Both my husband and I found that it was easy to express our thoughts and ideas to Pam. She was extremely helpful with her suggestions and recommendations. Pam helped us narrow down our design preferences (i.e. contemporary, modern, transitional, etc.) and gave us a great starting point for our project. We liked Pam so much that we decided to hire her to design our family room and kitchen. Pam's approach is detail oriented and comprehensive. We look forward to seeing the end results of the project we just began!

**Comment from Pamela Neel Interiors:**

> Thank you Mina. I've really enjoyed working together and can't thank you enough for the continued business over all the years. You & Anil are an absolute pleasure to work with! I'm so happy that you're both pleased with our latest updates & will look forward to working together again some day!

> I hired Pamela Neel Interiors for a consultation. I have two-story walls in the main living area. After months of going back and forth on what would be the proper color scheme for my walls, Pamela came out and within one-hour was able to show me the proper paint colors that would work best. I wish I had called her sooner. Her professionalism and knowledge was extremely helpful and I plan to hire her for larger projects in the future.

Pam was extremely patient as we worked through finding our style, selecting furniture, draperies and artwork. She listened to what we wanted and selected options for us to choose from. We will definitely use Pam when we begin our next project.

> I contacted Pam for help with window treatments and chairs for my living room, kitchen and office. She did a wonderful job finding fabrics that would work with my current couch and area rug, as well as recommending the type of window treatment that would work best with my tall ceilings. That was not an easy task! She is great to work with, dependable, organized and patient. I am very happy with the results!

> Pamela Neel Interiors were able to transform our living room, kitchen and foyer into a space that we now love and feel at home in. We purchased our home in Florida three years ago and had brought our large dark furniture with us from the Midwest. We were looking for an interior designer that could help reflect our taste plus bring in a more updated feel to our home. The layout of our home with a wall of windows and twenty foot ceilings were definite design challenges that would need to be addressed. We could not be more happy with the results! Pamela Neel approached our project with professionalism, attention to detail and budget, and walked us through the process in a friendly positive manner. With Pam guiding the process with her expertise and tried and true contractors, we watched our home develop layer by layer into a place that we both enjoy. We are looking forward to continuing working with Pamela Neel Interiors as we work on additional rooms in our home.

> I met Pam when she came to my daughter-in-law's home to discuss window treatments. I was totally impressed with Pam's approach. She asked a lot of questions as to how & who would be using the room(2 adults,2 boys & a big dog). Pam took a lot of pictures and spent a lot of time learning my daughter-in-law's color preferences & what she envisioned for her family room. I decided that day to ask Pam to come to my house.
> Pam spent 2.5 hours with me the first visit and gave me some terrific ideas. She also helped me pick fabric for 2 new chairs(over which I had dithered for about 3 months). When the chairs were done she returned with fabrics for me to look at for drapes. They were all gorgeous & any one would have looked great but together we narrowed it down to the perfect one. Pam made the whole process so easy which was great for me since I have no color eye & can't visualize how things will look. The drapes were hung on the 15th of August & I love them. They make such a difference. I think Pam is fabulous & would recommend her to everyone.

> Pam was wonderful in helping me pull all aspects of a dull living room and dining room into a beautiful, warm, inviting entrance into our home. I find myself still today, just sitting and admiring these gorgeous rooms. She did such a lovely job, we hired her again to help us with our beach Condo.

> I contacted Pam Neel for a consultation for a large wall of windows I wanted drapes/ shades made. I spoke to her in detail several times of the phone discussing my needs/ preferences, then we set an appointment. Pam obviously listened to what I'd said because she came armed with some great designs and ideas I'd not thought of. I was so impressed with her professionalism, friendliness and obvious experience I signed a contract with her. The entire process from design and choices for fabric, hardware, etc. took only 2 visits because she knew what appealed to me.
> The final product was beautiful drapes for a large problem wall of windows that are not only functional but beautifully made. I intend to hire Pam Neel again for future home projects.

I recommend her to anyone in need of small or large decorating projects.

> We recently completed a high-end commercial project in Jacksonville, Florida. A key design element was the use of traditional draperies (valences, multiple trims, side panels, and sheers) at all of the windows. We used Pamela Neel Interiors to provide local design coordination and workroom interface. Pam's attention to detail and customer service is as high as our own. She did a great job turning our sketches into beautifully fabricated and installed draperies. Thanks again, Pam!

> Our company was recently hired to remodel a retail branch for Certus Bank. As part of that project, we were tasked with finding a local designer that was experienced in window treatment design, understood commercial project challenges and could adapt to our construction timeline. It was imperative that the partner we chose have the proper resources to fabricate, install and deliver high quality window treatments. We discovered all of this and more when we engaged Pam and her team. We are thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend Pamela Neel Interiors to anyone seeking interior design assistance.

> I employed Pamela Neel Interiors to assist in updating my kitchen, master bathroom and bar area. She helped in choosing an updated style for cabinets, granite, hardware and color scheme that aided in acheiving my design needs and goals while staying within our budget. Pamela accompanied me to the sights to choose the hardware and granite, as well as sat in on meetings with our cabinet company to assist my husband and myself in choosing a style and color that would bring the project together and satisfy both our tastes. We love the result!! This is the second time in the last four years that we have hired Pamela Neel Interiors to work on a project for us and we will definitely be using her for more projects in the near future.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Treatment inside built-ins** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the wall paper or wall treatment inside the built-ins? It looks like textured paper?

A: Yes, it is a textured grass cloth wallcovering!
Thank you for your inquiry.

**Q: The large mirror wood framed** *(in Photo Questions)*

**Q: What is the paint color you used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Paint Color?

A: Sherwin Williams - Accessible Beige

**Q: where do i find this bench?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: thank you for your email - this was a custom bench we had made for our clients

**Q: are these roll up shades custom?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi & thank you for your question! Yes, they were custom & fabricated by one of our local drapery workrooms. The two fabrics in the treatment, as well as the flat decorative braid detail, were all chosen to coordinate with the wall coverings and other decor in the room. Actually .... it was made to look like roman shades, but mounted on a cornice board.

**Q: Dining chairs** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where are the dining chairs from? Love them!

A: Thank you for your inquiry. I believe the dining chairs were from Hickory Chair.
