I would definitely recommend them!

**Q: Who makes the cabinets and what is the wood and finish used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The wood species is reclaimed wormy chestnut.  The cabinets and finish are custom made in-house by Black Rock.

Where can I find those chairs?

A: Hello!  Thanks for your question.  The chairs were chosen by the homeowner's interior designer, so unfortunately I don't know where you could find them.  You could check this website for unique chairs: www.allmodern.com Good luck!

**Q: Fire place? Kitchen width?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am curious to know did the fireplace already exist ? we have the back side of the fireplace in my narrow 60's ranch house and really struggling with what to do with in. My kitchen is 12' wide very narrow we are more than likely going to expand it and go for it to some degree -thank you

A: Thanks for the question! The architect on this project placed the fireplace.  We believe it was just facing one way and was opened up on the kitchen side. Black Rock designed the kitchen and installed the cabinetry and counter tops as well as the stone cladding on the fireplace.  We love the way it turned out! It sounds like you may have some good options with your project to open up your space. A fireplace is such a warming touch to any room and is fairly unique in a kitchen.  Perhaps you could open yours up on both sides as well.
