> Terrible, unfortunately I bought tile from them and their photos are nothing like what I received (my fault for using them). They used photos from their wholesaler that were a different shade than what I actually received.
>
> I bought their terracotta Burgos Brick which is photographed as a pink, what I received was a red/ brown. I went to the wholesale website and saw they did carry the tile in the shade I wanted, it was under the shade “Biella” which clearly matched what TileBar was marketing as their terracotta tile, however I received the Wholesalers’ “Vercelli” shade which is a much darker brown than anything I ever would have bought.
>
> TileBar of course took no ownership of this issue. I would attach photos if I could. Hopefully this helps somebody.

> We ordered ceramic floor tile and the marble pattern was clearly printed - it looked like little printer dots up close (couldn't tell on the sample). Unusable. They don't offer return shipping (even at your expense) so you have to independently figure out how to ship a pallet of tiles back to them, and then a 15% restocking fee. Every shipping quote I got was a hundreds of dollars more than the price of the tiles. We're just eating the cost of unusable tiles and they're going in with the construction waste.

**Comment from TileBar:**

> Hello Kara, and thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your experience fell short of expectations. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. To resolve this promptly, please contact us at info@tilebar.com with your order details. Our team is ready to look into this and make it right. We look forward to hearing from you.

> We are in the midst of a bathroom remodel. We decided to order tile from TileBar as we could not find exactly what we wanted at any local stores. To be specific, I wanted white, hexagon-shaped tile. The tiles initially looked nice. Our only concern was the spacing between the tiles. They came in sheets of tile connected by mesh. The spacing was very inconsistent. We looked into returning them… not an option! They charge you a restocking fee plus you need to pay the return shipping. So basically we would have been out hundreds of dollars. We went ahead and used them. Again, spacing was so difficult. Also several sheets of tile came with a weird texture on its surface. It wasn’t initially noticeable until we grouted, and some areas absorbed the black grout. Not happy with tilebar, I’d avoid ordering from them. Our floor is far from perfect now.

**Comment from TileBar:**

> Hello, thank you for your feedback and we apologize that your shopping experience was not great and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our team would certainly like to improve your experience with us. If you wouldn't mind reaching out to us at info@tilebar.com with the details of your order; we'll be more than happy to look further into this matter. We look forward to hearing from you.

> Please do not buy a vanity from Tilebar. My decorator (who is a trade client) purchased a Kora vanity for a bathroom project. First of all it is terrible quality and absolutely not worth the price tag. Second, there was constant trouble with the order. The sent the wrong vanity and when they sent the replacement, the replacement was broken. The cover for the overflow is pictured on the website in brushed gold/bronze, with the same color faucet but BOTH orders came with a chrome overflow and they didn't seem to have any way to change it. I am terribly disappointed with this company and with what I thought would be a beautiful vanity after having looked for the perfect one for ages.

> We ordered tiles for our shower and it took several times before we received enough that were not broken to finish the job, holding the job up over a month. The final time, someone took the time to carefully pack them, and we received enough to finish the job.
>
> I was unfortunate enough to purchase tile for a surround for a fireplace. They shipped the wrong items for two of the pieces (the wrong color - although the packing slip said it was the correct color). They failed to include one of the pieces of another tile set completely. After four emails, I found out that they could ship out the correct color of the one tile, but they were out of stock for the other (which I am sure is why they never sent it in the first place).
>
> The project ruined, I asked to return the tile. The project can't be completed without ALL of the tiles. The graciously (insert sarcasm here) offered to waive the 15% restocking fee, but will require me to pay to return the tile. So I have to pay over $500 for a small amount of tile which we can't use, or pay to ship back what we can't use because they didn't ship what we originally ordered in the 1st place.
>
> Do yourself a favor - go literally ANYWHERE else.

> Ordered March 3 and was told 14 day delivery. March 26 and I just called and they said my order would be processing still for another 10 days!!! They said they have staffing issues. This is completely unacceptable!! You are holding up my entire project. Do not order from TileBar if you actually want your items

> Terrible customer service. Received three shipments in a row that had to be rejected due to extensive damage during shipment. This is only due to bad packaging and not the shipping company. We have received four shipments.
>
> The first shipment we received was OK. Boxes were palletized standing on edge, braced so they would not fall over, and strapped. The only concern was the plastic straps were stretched to their limit. Should have used steel straps. Two shipments were sent in cardboard boxes with no pallet and the last on a pallet with the boxes lying flat. All three arrived with cracked / shattered tiles.
>
> Sales rep is slow to respond, and it is impossible to get through to management to voice concerns. They just don't give a damn!
>
> I am currently building a home that is now delayed because of their inability to properly pack a shipment of tile.

> I used tile bar for a recent bathroom renovation. I ordered 12X24 porcelain tiles and 2X10 glazed ceramic tiles. The tiles were all in stock when I ordered them, and everything arrived on time. My order was 14 boxes total and arrived well strapped down on a wooden pallet. Their policy for reimbursing damaged tiles is pretty strict so I made sure to open and inspect all boxes right away. Out of 14 boxes not a single tile was broken and I only found one 2X10 tile (out of 340) with a very slight defect. I felt I got very high quality, thick, beautiful tile for a great price and I would definitely order from them again!

> I placed an order last year for sample tiles for my kitchen backsplash. I received the “Montauk Sand Dune” tile samples and loved them. They looked matte with a mild shimmer and they were perfect. I went ahead and ordered a large amount for our kitchen, and when I finally received them about 2 weeks later (no tracking number or anything was sent ahead of time), I opened the boxes to see them labeled as “Equipe-Mallorca Cream”, and after laying out multiple boxes, they were all incredibly reflective and there was not ONE matte finish tile in the bunch that looked like my samples, which I felt were necessary in balancing out the look of the tile. They claim to be boxes of “mixed finish” tiles, but they aren’t. They looked nothing like the samples they sent me. So now, after spending over $600, including shipping, I now have to find out how to send them back on my own dime (which will be over the original $100 shipping they charged me). I feel like I was duped. But they don’t care because their customer service is trash. Thanks for nothing.

**★ — Eric Terndrup, Nov. 2023**

> Don’t be fooled by ‘expedited’ shipping. I paid a fortune for expedited shipping. Order placed on Thursday, it wasn’t processed until Friday, and not delivered until late Monday. Four days doesn’t seem expedited to me. Customer service tried to explain to me that that was the expedited service. You’d think paying $160 to ship two small trim pieces (needed to finish job) might get you over night service.

**★ — HU-953472486, April 2023**

> The worst company ever. Customer service was terrible, two missing boxes of tile, two damaged boxes of tile, wouldn’t respond or following through with communication. Then refused to make things right at the end with reimbursement for the hassle/problems.

**★ — roger\_obenauf, April 2023**

> TileBar incorrectly labeled tile boxes and as a result shipped the wrong tile for our project. Our bathroom remodel is now on hold while TileBar customer service decides when they want to take the time to deal with this problem. I would not recommend anyone using a company not willing to resolve their mistakes ASAP.
