The project included a large patio, some veneer work and reconfiguration of the surrounding fence. The owner, Ryan worked closely with us on design ideas and material selection. He was very responsive and quoted us several options. The project was started on the scheduled week, during which we met the foreman KC. Once the project was started, there were no work interruptions and the progress was steady and predictable. There were a few tricky obstacles to overcome with the fence and gate relocation but they were able to blend them nicely into the existing fence. Ryan kept us up to date throughout the project; he was always accessible by phone or email and constantly made sure that we are satisfied with the work. The finished patio looks even better than we expected. Ryan removed the wall designed a very nice two tier replacement and built it. It came out wonderfully. Poor drainage was one of the major issues with the old wall. Ryan did an amazing job of removing a huge quantity of heavy clay and putting in a huge amount of stone backfill with drainpipes and created a pipe system for dealing with the water coming from the house gutters. We couldn't be happier with how the final wall looks. The job had already been started by another contractor but was never finished. A friend of mine recommended me calling Mulligans for an estimate. The job was originally to be a concrete patio and walkways around the house. The front walkway was like a ski slope and needed to be flatten. The job was not a easy one. The first meeting with Mulligan's went well. The owner took the time to review the area needing work, listened to what I wanted and presented different ideas on what could be done. By the end of the meeting, I had a whole new design. Mulligan's did an awesome job on the install, worked hard, polite and kept me informed the whole time. They didn't just meet my expectations, they exceeded them. Timeline provided for the whole project was two weeks and even with rain days they stayed within the time line. Provided a solid, deep base (~8-10") of crushed stone and sand for pavers. Compacted the stone multiple times to ensure it was well-packed. Careful of job site to minimize damage and re-landscaped with loom/seed where necessary. Later, after we were misinformed from a different lawn company about the state of our lawn after the pool install, I contacted Mulligan's for help and they came in during the busiest part of their season to fix it all and lay sod and our lawn ended up being beautiful all Summer long. We also had contracted with Mulligan's to design some flower beds along our fences which again are beautiful and exactly what we wanted.
