Wally did telephone in reply and arranged to meet us at the new home we plan to remodel. He was quite agreeable and usefully pointed out some physical constraints limiting our original concept. Although we interviewed another contractor, he was our first choice. > Wally promised to submit an estimate for the work we proposed within two weeks of that initial meeting. Hearing nothing after that period, I phoned to prompt him. He apologized, committing to complete the bid later that same week. Three weeks have passed; an estimate has never been received. **Comment from Desert Design Builders:** > While I have never done any work for this man, I did not deliver an estimate for the work he wanted done, and I failed to contact him to tell him why, which I should have. So I would like explain myself. The work you wanted to do to your home was absurd. Instead of moving walls and changing the floor plan of your house to accommodate your furniture, get new furniture. Secondly I was not comfortable with you or the way you communicated with me. I should have contacted you and told you that I wasn't interested in your project or working with you, but instead I just hoped you would move on to someone else when you didn't hear from me. Color? thanks A: The back splash is a 3"x6" glass tile set in a running bond, with a multicolor brown glass mosaic inlay that is approximately 3' wide.
