The cabinets in the photo were completed before we had good records keeping systems in place so I cannot tell you the stain color. But I can tell you it is Cherry wood, and the door/drawer style is a custom: 100-9520-9885-0001. If you give your designer a copy of this photo, they should be able to request a color match. We have a display in our showroom or you can visit their website, topknobs.com **Q: Another white kitchen :D** *(in Remodeling)* Always loved a while kitchen and finally got the chance to put one in. I am now rethinking the amount of white. My original plan was all white cabinets, marble look quartz in brittanica- the one with the big veins, and maybe grey marble herringbone backsplash. What do you think about butcher block counters if we kept the quartz on the island and put butcher block on the perimeters? I feel like I might regret not having all white/grey on all counters but I also feel like the times are changing and I need something to break up all the white. Behind the island on the left is a microwave/oven combo, then fridge. All stainless. Sink is a white farmhouse. Range is stainless and on the other side of the kitchen. The room you see in front of the kitchen is the dining room. This room will be white with white wainscoting and the ceiling will be painted or wallpapered undecided color yet. Our floors are a medium brown wood. Have not purchased island pendants yet or a chandelier but pendants will either be light blue or clear. I will post my inspiration pics in the comments. The cabinets will remain white, if you tell me to ditch my white cabinets or paint them I will disregard any other comment you make!! A: I'd switch gears and keep the quartz perimeter countertop. Then do an eye-catching butcherblock Island countertop. It looks like its too late to lower the Island so you can do a 2-3" thick end-grain block type butcherblock. Walnut is stunning but maple is just as nice. **Q: I need advice on kitchen backsplash** *(in Design Dilemma)* We have White shaker style cabinets and gray island. I am completely lost with backsplash options. I wanted to share the two samples that I like but they’re completely different from each other. The third option might be using the hexagon tile in white with gray grout. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. A: I would say the hexagonal tiles will lend a more casual look while the black & while sample will lead to a more formal look. So it kind of depends what you are going for.
