What I immediately liked was that Ron very clearly wanted to build what pleased us and in the way I had described as "cozy". Well, that is what we got. Our all season sunroom is beautiful in every aspect. From the design including the window seat, to the windows, the insulation, and overall solid feel to the room, which happens to be the quietest room in the house. Ron is an excellent listener and then gives feedback based on his experience as to whether changes need to be considered, which I imagine happens with all remodels. There are no surprises with Ron. Communication is one of his strengths. We also have pets including 4 indoor cats and ron and his sub-contractors were very considerate and careful to keep our pets from escaping. They removed the hard plastic sheets and the florescent lighting tubes from 2 recessed, rectangular boxes in our kitchen ceiling. The recessed boxes were then covered with Sheetrock and 6 new canister style light cans were installed where needed around the room. The entire ceiling was then dry walled and painted. Halogen bulbs were placed in the cans with a dimmer to adjust the lights. This helped to bring our kitchen up to date and improved the lighting tremendously. It has made a huge difference in the look of the kitchen and we are very happy. The cabinet pulls are Berenson, Aspire 9231-1BNP-P 3.75" center to center. Brian's Cabinets made the custom mirrors and cabinets. I see you use art. turf is this run of the mill turf? What is the maintenance routine with a pet and the turf? Hose off couple times a week? Thanks for any insight! Jen from Pittsburgh A: Our turf is anything but run of the mill. We take particular care to get the most out of our yarns and polyethylene fibers from the mill. We hand select the fibers to be used so that they come out looking like real grass, specifically for each region in which we do our installs. Cleaning is pretty simple with a hosing every few days if you have heavy to moderate dog use. We also have some pretty interesting odor remedies that have been made from natural products from our clients, that when used regularly help curb the pet smells that can and will be present.
