Having been in the cabinet & woodworking industry for more than 30 years, people seeking advice and help with their existing kitchens found his talents and asked for help. > I live in a unique 1920s coop in Chicago that was blessed with all the original artisan cabinetry and woodwork throughout.  A recent pipe leak necessitated that an original built in butlers pantry cabinet be demolished.  This cabinet wasn’t typical.  It was built specifically for linens, with oversized wide and long drawers.  After the demolition, only the drawers were left intact.  (See photo) Every cabinet maker I interviewed refused to built a new cabinet and use the original drawers......except one. Mr. D.  He relished the idea.  He took exceptional care to replicate all the details of the original cabinet.  He is thorough, competent and cares about his craft.  At the same time, he is patient and very flexible.  After he completed the cabinet, I had him retrofit my kitchen drawers with new glides.  Now my older cabinets have self closing glides and float like a dream!  Looking forward to my next project with his help.  Thank you Mr D!!
