Pools for Home provided us with a great experience form start to finish. Marc worked with us to come up with a great design. He is very current with pool trends and technology which made selecting options effortless. The project was completed in a timely manner and great care was taken to keep the property clean while under construction. Most importantly he was quick to respond when we had questions about the project.Overall I would highly recommend Pools for Home for a backyard project. **★★★★★ — Patricia Eichinger, March 2018** > I hired Pools for Home Design in the spring of 2017 for a complete redesign of our backyard. We ripped out the old deck and lay flagstone throughout and created 3 separate areas – dining area with built in BBQ – gas fire pit seating area – and an outdoor living area under a cabana. This was done surrounding the existing pool which was installed by Pools for Home in 2005. > > Marc is great to work with. I find him to be knowledgeable about every aspect of the project and he brings in the people best suited for the tasks. He stays on top of the work and always knows what the current status of the project is at any given point. > > Marc listens to our questions and concerns and if changes have to be made, he always comes up with several options with pros and cons, which makes it easier to move forward. > > Marc has a hands on approach to his projects and ensures that the quality of work by his staff is high and meeting the expectations of the customer. > > We love our new backyard and are enjoying the extra space. I would highly recommend Marc and his team to anyone who is in the market for a new pool or backyard design. **★★★★★ — Chris Coleman, March 2018** > My wife and I have had the pleasure of hiring Marc twice to design and build pools in our two homes in Oakville over the last 10 years. The first time as novice pool owners, Marc was instrumental in working with us and helping us understand what could and could not be built in our backyard. Marc listened to our entire family (including kids) to design the perfect pool backyard for us. The second time, when we relocated to a new house, we contacted Marc very early in our renovation process. Our experience the first time made the second decision very easy for us. Again, the backyard was completed on time, on budget and to our total satisfaction. With a store open on a regular basis our access to Marc is very good. Marc's professionalism and knowledge base has guided us through the process each time with great results. We get our water tested regularly by Marc and very happy to say we have the clearest pool in the neighbourhood! We are very happy with our backyard and the ongoing service and attention to detail that Marc provides. **★★★★★ — Sebastian Spinelli, Feb. 2018** > Great company to work with. From the initial design to the finish project. This company was punctual every day of the project, they were accommodating when you wanted to add to the design but still tried to keep us in budget in doing so. Clean and Quality work noted on the final touches. Marc and his crew really made our backyard oasis come true. I would highly recommend Pools for Home Design. **★★★★★ — evgraydon, Feb. 2018** > Experience that shows from start to finish! > > We were impressed with the knowledge , professionalism and workmanship that Pools for Home brought to our large backyard pool and landscaping project. Marc and his crew were always bringing new ideas to us and were flexible to make changes to enhance the project. Pricing was at market value and there were no hidden costs. We received many compliments from neighbors who remarked at the professionalism of the staff. > Marc went the extra steps to ensure we could enjoy our new pool near the end of season and provided excellent post installation service. > We are thrilled with our pool and backyard and would recommend Pools for Home to anyone. **★★★★★ — chrisewen99, Feb. 2018** > From the initial consultation to the day the pool was used for the first time Marc and his team were professional and very organized. We are delighted with the end product. Its classy and fits our home well. Totally practical for our young family and workmanship is evident. Project was completed on time and on budget. > Highly recommend. **★★★★★ — Cathryn Zabaneh, Feb. 2018** > Marc and his very talented team turned our spartan backyard into a complete oasis. We started with literally a blank slate and ended with a beautiful pool, surrounding gardens, waterfall, fireplace and gorgeous stone work. They met all timelines (even with challenging weather conditions), made fantastic suggestions and consulted as needed. Everyone who enters our backyard is incredibly impressed. > We look forward to summer and the hours of backyard fun and relaxation that Pools for Home Design have made possible. > I would highly recommend them. **Comment from Pools For Home Design:** > Thank you Cathryn! Thrilled you and your family love the yard and hope you enjoy it for many years to come. ## Selected projects - [Pool with Patio Seating and Fire Pit](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/pool-with-patio-seating-and-fire-pit-pj-vj~1542201) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 16 - [Inground Swimming Pools](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/inground-swimming-pools-pj-vj~1553489) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 33 - [Stairs and Benches](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/stairs-and-benches-pj-vj~1553423) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 10 - [Patio with Seating Area and Stone Steps](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/patio-with-seating-area-and-stone-steps-pj-vj~1542212) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 8 - [Pool with Outside Bar](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/pool-with-outside-bar-pj-vj~1542206) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 21 - [Backyard Woodwork](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/backyard-woodwork-pj-vj~2871063) - Location: Oakville, ON - Photos: 13 [See all 6 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/swimming-pool-builders/pools-for-home-design-pfvwus-pf~1225975203) ## Ideabooks - [ideas for zoe](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/61484590/list/ideas-for-zoe) — 5 ideas [See all 1 ideabook](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/users/poolman68) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
