> I had a disappointing experience with JC Licht for window treatments. I ordered $11K of Hunter Douglas sun shades for a high rise apartment in Chicago.
> First, despite an in-home design consultation in June, the designer, Mark C, did not consider how the pull-chain retainers attached to the wall would prevent the windows from opening fully.
> Then, the installer, Noe, did not follow the building engineer's installation requirement when anchoring to the soffit. And, despite measuring twice, one of the window treatments he brought out did not fit. I was told that the cutting and installation of the incorrectly sized window treatment would be expedited...
> Almost three months later, after several attempts to schedule the appointment and a last minute cancellations by the installer, I finally had an appointment for the day before Thanksgiving. Not great, but I was available and made it work.
> All around, from design to installation, this was a disappointing experience. I did reach out to them about my experience, and they were apologetic for not meeting my expectations, but I would not recommend, and I wish I had done some more shopping before picking JC Licht.

> JC Licht color consultant, Julie D., provided an interior wall color scheme that made a dramatic improvement in the appearance of my home. The first floor has an exceptionally open floor plan that makes selection of wall colors difficult. Prior to hiring Julie I received three different color scheme proposals from three interior decorators none of which looked good with all of my furnishings and transitioned well from room to room. Julie’s color selections work beautifully in every room and they make the different furnishings and accessory colors in the rooms that are open to each other look like they belong together. The overall result is amazing. Thank you Julie.

From the very start, Nicole would always return my calls and was very prompt in all her communication. The day of the color consult, she came in and I could see she was "thinking" from the start.  We talked about the room I wanted to paint, and she gave fabulous recommendations and told me how to accent other parts of my house so that it all flowed naturally and was connected. Some of the color, I would have never thought to do, but I did it...and have been so pleased with the results. My friends who knew I had the consult also agree. I would not hesitate to use Nicole and her expertise again.  She also helped me think about what type of accessories would go well with some of the colors that were chosen.
