**Q: Do we put luxury vinyl flooring in a million dollar house?** *(in Polls)*

We have beautiful walnut floors throughout our home and have had to replace them a couple times due to house floods (hail storms, busted frozen pipes, incompetent plumbing….you get the idea).  We are building a home and toying with the idea of luxury vinyl flooring.  Is it tacky to put luxury vinyl in a million plus dollar home?

A: You can get some high end luxury vinyl flooring (some as high as $8.00 sq ft or more).  We typically install it in basements or on concrete slabs in our area.
If flooding from busted pipes is your main concern, make sure that you're hiring a good GC.  If you’re doing an owner build, be sure that your plumber is reputable and you shouldn’t have any issues.
