> I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been Banks Builders first customer for a private home. I'm a mariner and spend half my life away from home working on ships at sea in remote places without service, but never once had to worry about anything during the construction process with these guys going above and beyond all the time and handling everything in the most professional manner. The home speaks for itself; a simple yet stunning place. Two bedrooms, an open living room, and a kitchen upstairs, make it a wonderful place to host people and has a big feel without being a big place. The downstairs is a sweet and cozy little one bedroom one bath suite located adjacent to a two car garage with plenty of room for me to work on any projects that I may have going on. Banks builders also did a great job of keeping the natural beauty that my small piece of property on emerald isle had to offer, being surrounded by live oaks, beautiful hickory, cedar and wetlands. These guys have an intimate understanding of the land around here and take pride in building custom homes that fit in with the landscape and are not an eyesore like so many places around. Over two years living in the house now and I have absolutely no complaints, and if there ever is any issues these guys pick up the phone right away and are willing to help. Banks builders are from the area and know what it takes to make a place strong and resilient to combat the hurricanes we do get. Simply put, these guys are the best.
