If curtains what color? A: I would suggest sheers only if you need a little privacy. Other than that, I would leave it without and paint the trim so it stands out. **Q: curtain or not to curtain...** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hello...we moved into our house a year and a half ago and slowly but surely we have been painting and decorating...but I feel like we need something to soften up our living room. Unfortunately a rug is not feasible right now because we have 2 cats with stomach issues and the rug would get ruined quite quickly! So my other thought was to get some light and airy curtains to hang. Would that be overkill with the blinds? Also if curtains would be the way to go...would a darker curtain rod do the trick or do you think I should go white or bushed nickel? So, this may be a strange one! I'm fresh out of school and working on my first real project, and then venturing out into the design world. And I also have pink hair! I've had all sorts of unnatural colors for a decade and now that it's time to go out on my own, I'm trying to figure out if this hair will cost me clients. So as people who deal with designers, or as former or future clients, what do you think? Would you be put off by a designer with quirky (clean and maintained) hair color if you loved her portfolio, or do you consider it a plus, like a calling card for a style? I see a lot more people with colorful hair these days, between designers, models, celebrities, so I think it's more accepted than when I started, but I have to make a choice since I want to start my own agency.
