## Community Q&A

**Q: Help with this craft room, please? :(** *(in Design Dilemma)*

hey all, I am in the process of totally re-doing my craft room. I am in a rental so painting the wall is not an option. I'm also on an EXTREMELY tight budget. Everything you see in these photos costed less than 100 dollars. (love craigslist) I need to work with what i have.

I also am the type of crafter who needs to see everything. i want to have a 'cricut station' and store my rubber stamps, buttons, etc.. I have baby food jars that I store my buttons in. i'm planning on a pink and green theme, but I just don't know the best layout for this space. you can see a pantry to the right, and I also share this with a laundry room.

the type of crafts i do...
collaging with vintage magazines
scrapbooking
recycled/upcycled using tin cans and other things
card making
and i see myself doing more.

any advice would be helpful.
thanks.

A: Call california Closets!

**Q: My Closet Is Super Small!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My closet is super small. My room isn't that big either. I just need more space to hang up clothes/coats. There's one corner where I could put a wardrobe or something (see picture). Any suggestions on what to get that would fit the area and solve my problem?

A: A lot of things go into the cost to increase it. If you stick to the standards like square door faces, flat top (no crown molding), standard toe kick, etc you can estimate $200-$250 a linear foot. When you start adding upgrades such as deco door panels like raised panel, shaker, Beadboard, etc, specialty moldings, wood grains the price can double or even triple on the linear foot average. If you're a modern/contemporary style than quake doors are perfect for you! Look at CC's Lago line if you are!
