Since my professional training as an Interior Designer in residential and commercial properties, I have come to treasure the experiences I have on a daily basis--transforming spaces into beautiful and functional places. Through my own experience, I have identified several sources of anxiety in relation to decorating and design. The most daunting of course is budget. The opportunities are obvious if you have a large budget, however on a limited budget we are forced to look at pieces we already have and reinvent them. Still cannot decide paint color.☹️** *(in Paint)* This small bedroom with little light, Navajo White trim (BM) and a chair rail - none of which I can change or remove is very challenging to paint. I would like to go lighter/brighter but finding few light colors go with off white trim. If I go more cream below the chair rail, will that work? I am not crazy about the top being dark and the lower being lighter but I do not mind the top color - which the paint can gives not idea what color it is - which is also why a challenge to match. Or should I just go all gray top and bottom to be safe. That is my most preferences color. 🤔 A: I agree with comments that suggest to paint all the same color if white: top, rail and lower including baseboard. My favorite white right now is BM OC17 Dove White. Good Luck! **Q: Pros: What's going to be hot in 2018?** *(in Remodeling)* Calling all professionals! Need backsplash ideas I want to keep it light.
