### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Steve S, March 2020**

> Dyna did an amazing job remodeling our home. It was the first large remodel project that my wife and I have done and Dyna did a great job of partnering with us throughout the process, and more importantly, the work is fantastic, and the project came in on time and on budget. Gus, Stacey, and Chris were great to work with! I would highly recommend working with Dyna.

> We love our house! We made the decision to remodel (again) rather than move and Dyna became our partner for the next 10 months from July 2018 to May 2019. We had a bit of ebb and flow about project scope and size. Once we landed on an agreement the pricing and pacing stuck. We had a great team of Beau and Ryan on site, Gus as PM and Karol as APM. When the project was over we had the whole crew back for a happy hour. People were shocked because normally projects end and that's a wrap for the relationship. Not so here because the work is of such high quality and the relationship is respectful of our needs and their ability to perform.

**★★★★★ — Gretchen Keithly, Feb. 2020**

> We loved working with Dyna. Our super, Jaccob Mahlberg, was fantastic. He anticipated every issue and ultimately saved us countless hours and money. (Particularly on flooring and fireplace issues) Gus Poole was the project manager and were were very pleased with all aspects of his involvement. Rex Davidson was organized, timely and delightful to work with. When we gave her a task, it was completed immediately. She sourced items we thought were unavailable. We would definitely use Dyna again!

> Dyna’s work on the project was great. Great people to work with. Chad our project manager was the best and is exactly the kind of person you want to work with on a project.

**★★★★★ — Ben Lynch, May 2019**

> I knew Dyna was the right fit the moment Ren and Fritz arrived. They were professional, organized, articulate and responsive. Their entire team and subcontractors are also top notch. Our home was not easy to build for various reasons and they managed to complete it beautifully. Trusting someone to build your home right can be nearly impossible. Don't go with the lowest bidder or the one who says they can do it all without specialized subcontractors. Go with Dyna. I keep telling people I'm so glad I did. You'll be, too.

> We are very pleased with the work Dyna Contracting has done for us. We have used Dyna for several major renovation projects on our mid-century modern home. Dyna has completed a full renovation of our master bath with custom built cabinetry and quartz counters and an update to our master bedroom including built in furniture, drapes and lighting. Dyna also remodeled our main floor entryway, rebuilt our staircase and installed their own handmade metal railings. Dyna always made regular updates on our projects and kept a close eye on our budgets and timelines. We are happy to recommend Dyna Contracting to anyone looking for complete renovation work on their homes or design services to refresh their existing living spaces.

**★★★★★ — Pauline Liu, Aug. 2018**

> Over the years we have had multiple sizable remodeling projects for our house. Dyna is by far the best contractor we have experienced. The owner, Ren, is so experienced that his cost estimate is highly accurate. Although it is "time and material" based, he only allows himself a 6% overage, and the company prides itself for not going into that 6%. (It did not in this case.) The billing system was totally transparent so we always knew what work we were being billed for and where we stood with respect to the total budget.
>
> The design team and daily work team were both highly skilled in their own area. They worked with us tirelessly to achieve the best results within our budget. And they worked well with their subs so the work was on-going smoothly and the project was finished in a timely manner. And everyone was pleasant.
>
> We recommend Dyna unreservedly.

> Don't believe the rumors. A renovation project CAN be on-time, on-budget, and an enjoyable experience IF you choose Dyna. From the first meeting through to the post-reno small details, Ren, Gus, Kimber, Beau and Ryan were professional, courteous and truly a pleasure to spend time with. They understood our vision and came to the table with improvements to the plans we hadn't even thought of. All of the subs they used were equally as professional, courteous and efficient. We feel so lucky that we chose Dyna for our full house renovation project!

> Dyna Contracting remodeled our downtown Seattle condo--kitchen, bathroom, lighting, plumbing, floor tiles, and fireplace. Project was completed on time and on budget. While remodeling in condo buildings have unique issues related to working hours and days, parking, delivery of products and the need to clean all common areas daily, our condo manager told me that Dyna Contracting was the easiest to work with compared with others that had worked in the building. On site project management and easy lines of communication made the project go smoothly. Gladly recommend Dyna. Our remodel is beautiful.

> This review is long overdue! Dyna built our home in Kirkland - they were fantastic through the entire process, but I'll call out these strengths in specific:
> \* Project Management - we've heard horror stories from friends about how their houses were delayed by months and years. Dyna managed timelines very efficiently in the face of busy construction, delay in materials, shortplat requirements, and juggled the availability of their work force to make sure our project was finished in good time.
> \* Costs - In the face of rising material and construction prices, Dyna helped us manage costs well and suggested alternatives that worked really well for our esthetic.
> \* Attention to detail - The quality of their work is impressive. Plus, they balance form and function really well.
> \* Post-construction support - This is the first time we've had a home built, so the friendly faces and the endless support from the folks at Dyna is highly appreciated. They are always a phone call or email away and more than happy to help resolve issues.

**★★★★★ — Habib Rahbar, Dec. 2016**

> Dyna is an extremely professional, organized, and high quality contractor. They pay close attention to every detail, care tremendously about the final product so that you are happy, and work hard to problem solve unexpected issues that inevitably come up with construction. They hold themselves accountable for mistakes (they don't make many). Their pricing is accurate, and they don't try to sugar coat the construction process. They are creative, and they draw from their vast experience to come up with the most functional and aesthetically pleasing outcome. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for in this business! I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a high quality remodel without hesitation

**★★★★★ — Banyon Tree Design Studio, Nov. 2016**

> I have had, over the years, wonderful opportunities to work alongside Dyna Contracting on building and landscape design projects. They are thorough, detailed and super fun to work with. I would highly recommend Dyna for any new home construction--they are a top notch, real deal team!

  - Location: Mercer Island, WA

  - Description: Perched on the north shore of Mercer Island, this 1973 mid-century modern home offers sweeping views of Lake Washington. The property was thoughtfully renovated by Dyna Builders, with architectural design by Janice Wettstone and interiors crafted by Kristi Steffen of Dyna Design. Though its bones were strong, years of updates had left the home feeling dated and dark. The renovation preserved the home’s iconic mid-century character while introducing modern livability, enhanced light, and a sense…

  - Description: When a “landlocked” interior parcel behind their house came up for sale, clients Per and Cecilia saw more than an empty lot with zoning constraints. They saw an opportunity to create a modern take on a quincho—the traditional outdoor kitchen and entertaining space from Cecilia’s native Argentina—while providing flex space for visiting friends and family to stay. Centered around the art of cooking and entertaining, the 914 SF structure creates a new center of gravity for the couple, their family,…

Constructed atop a new concrete float, this 2,8…

Undertaken by Dyna Builders, with architectural and interior design also by the Dyna team, the project evolved to better meet the family's needs, while also respecting the home's original character and neighborhood content. - Description: Afloat on Seattle’s Portage Bay, this floating home by Dyna Builders and Hoshide Wanzer Architects embodies the Costa Rican philosophy of pura vida—a commitment to simple pleasures, a connection to nature, and an ease of living. Located on a busy ship canal between Lake Union and Lake Washington, the home needed to balance transparency and privacy, adapting to both the vibrant lakefront activity and the need for a secluded retreat. The project began with the replacement of an aging floating home…
