We first met Gil Lohr in 2013, while he was building a house across the street. Gil and his loyal crew completed numerous projects at our home while we were living in it with our children and energetic dog. Lohr Homes always kept their commitments: they were on time, on budget, and transparent about expected costs and expenditures. These projects included beautifully tiling a challenging bathroom with angled-ceilings using penny round tile, landscaping our yard, repainting the interior and exterior of our house, and building and staining a large gated fence. In addition, they completed numerous smaller upgrades to the house, inside and out. When Gil needed a subcontractor with a specialized skill, he used folks he knew and had used many times before, all of whom spoke highly of Gil. We’ve watched Lohr Homes build at least seven houses across Central Austin since we met, and toured the homes at different stages of construction.
