These oak planks are engineered since the floors were atop a crawl space. \[Semi-conditioned\]. We finished the floors with "Provincial" stain color and a satin polyurethane. **Q: Where did you put the toilet?** *(in Photo Questions)* In the Sand Mountain master bath, where did you put the toilet? On the plans, it is at the end of the bathtub. Thank you. A: We built our house on a crawlspace - and made sure that the crawlspace was semi-conditioned and included a significant dehumidifier suspended from the floor joists in order to reduce moisture from under the floor. We decided to use white oak because it is less apt to take-up moisture as when compared to red oak. The grade of flooring is \#1 Common -white oak and the width of the flooring is 3.25"-wide. The flooring was finished in the field - stained the hardwoods "provincial" and we topped with 3-coats of polyurethane in a satin finish. **Q: Ceiling height?** *(in Photo Questions)* What is the height of the regular ceiling and the drop ceiling? Thanks! A: The finished ceiling height in the main basement area is 8'-6" - and the dropped ceiling over the bar finishes as 7'-4". **Q: On the patio** *(in Photo Questions)* What are the metal/copper looking chains that are hanging from the roof to the brick patio?
