**Q: Trim** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the color of your trim?

A: Hello and sorry for my delayed reply!  Are you asking about the window trim?  I had put in the description that the windows are by Weathershield, and are a painted vinyl.  This project was done in 2004, so they my no longer offer that exact product or the brown color.  The gutters are copper, and did patina to blend with the windows (which I had counted on!).  The fascia boards are painted Benjamin Moore HC-70 (Van Buren Brown), and it's a color I've advised to clients many times.  I hope this helps!  ~ Kathy

**Q: Stucco and Snow** *(in Photo Questions)*

I want to use some stucco for exterior finish but I am wondering if it will stand up to 4-5 months of snow touching it.  My house is in the mountains at 2400 ft elevation.  is it more expensive than traditional wood siding.

A: Hi Faye:  I haven't worked on a home in snow country, so can't help you with information about how stucco will hold up.  I do think, however, that wood siding would not be a good idea since wood and water don't mix. : )  With snow piled up against the house, a synthetic siding would most likely be better.  Whatever contractor you're working with in the area should know what's most efficient for your weather conditions.  Best of luck with your project!  ~ Kathy

A: Hi bureshbuilding.  I just saw your email, and responded with a bit more detail.  For others reading though, they were a self-trimmed window, so everything you see in the photo arrived as shown, fully painted.

**Q: What kind of tile is in this shower and what color is it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi, The tile in the shower is from Florida Tile; pattern Millenia, color Solaria and here's the link: http://www.floridatile.com/products/millenia.  It comes in several sizes which makes it very nice to work with!

**Q: Facia material** *(in Photo Questions)*

Very interested in what was used for facia and gutters. Is it a custom metal.

A: Hi Denise,

Thanks for noticing that little detail, since lots of thought went into it! : )  The fascias are actually just lumber (1x6's I believe), and the gutters are copper, which by the time this photo was taken, had turned their beautiful bronze patina.  I had anticipated this, so painted the fascia boards to match.  I'm sure it was a Benjamin Moore color, but have recently worked with a client to achieve this same look and we used Sherwin Williams 6076 Turkish Coffee and it looks fantastic.
