> I have enjoyed collaborating with Claudia on several projects. She has always been very professional, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. No matter how busy Claudia is there is always a smile on her face. I also think she goes above and beyond to not only meet deadlines but to make sure that the client is happy with the end result.

> I am a Interior Designer in the Philadelphia area have have been working with Claudia for years. She always brings a professional point of view and sharp understanding that guides my finial decision. I design contemporary, traditional and modern homes so it's comforting to know Claudia also has a range that understands window treatments for all interiors. She is easy to work with, always there, is easy to schedule time to measure or install. I love working with her and work with no one else!

> Claudia brought a wide selection of materials for drapes and roller shades from which to choose ... in fact, we were able to make a final decision that day. A month later, she and her team came to install all in one fell swoop. Easy process and lovely, modern results! Our master bedroom is well enhanced by the drapery/shade combination. We are very happy with the results; Claudia was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

> Claudia has such a great talent for knowing how to pull the right fabrics and colors together! I was in desperate need to give my living room and kitchen a more polished, contemperary feel and she knew exactly how to incorporate the right colors and fabrics to work with my current furnishings. She works within your budget and doesn't overwhelm you with tons and tons of fabrics (which I hate and become a deer in a headlight). It's so refreshing to have someone know exactly how to create the look you want and does it right and professionally.

**★★★★★ — Larina Kase Interior Design, Aug. 2015**

> I hired Urban Loft Window Treatments and Interiors to make and install 8 linen curtain panels. Everything from the first contact to the final installation was seamless and professional. The communication was impeccable, selection and products were beautiful, the quality and value were excellent...I highly recommend this company to create the window treatments that complete your space and give it the wow factor!

**★★★★★ — Danielle Brown, Nov. 2014**

## Community Q&A

**Q: Cayita** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where can I find the dinning table and chairs?

A: I did not select the furniture. Kimberly Barr Interior Design was the designer on this project. www.kbarrinteriordesign.com

**Q: What color is the wall?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I asked Kimberly Barr Interior Design who was the designer on this project and she said Benjamin Moore Owl Gray. www.kbarrinteriordesign.com

**Q: Patio door curtain rods** *(in Home Decorating)*

Do I need 3 brackets to keep my patio door panel from drooping? If so, how do I close the curtain with a bracket in the middle?

A: If you have a telescoping rod, you will need a support on the middle. If you have one cut to size, you won't for this size. It is fine for the bracket to be in the middle for a split stack.

**Q: Blue Sofa....Trend??** *(in Polls)*

I adore the color blue. SO, rich, deep blue accent chairs, or statement sofas set my tongue wagging! \*HOWEVER\*, I realize that the living room furniture which we looking to purchase (sofa, chairs, rugs, etc) are going to be in our home for the next 15 years (or more!). Am I going to regret such a purchase in 5 years??? (I bypassed the 'granite countertop' trend, but just by the skin of my teeth!)

I know people will say, "do what you love", but when everyone else loves something it's a trend. Maybe I should look for another color which I love??? Such a dilemma! I appreciate your input!!

(I'm thinking the sofas in the photo/linkBlue Sofas are more subdued and practical option?)

A: I think of my blue sofa like a pair of favorite jeans. Classic and beloved. You can dress them up or down, just like a sofa!

**Q: Which direction for herringbone floor?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I'm struggling with which direction to put the herringbone tile. When you approach the bathroom, all you see is the vanity, so my first instinct would be to have the herringbone lead you into the room.

But the floor space is slightly more rectangular to the eye because of the vanity and toilet, so should the herringbone point towards the shower? (the room dimensions are correct, but the vanity, toilet, and 4 x 12 tiles are not to scale)

Which one should I go with?

A: \#1 is the way to go! its will be awesome!

**Q: Need layout advice** *(in Home Decorating)*

I'd love to finish furnishing/decorating our living room but I find the room's layout awkward and difficult to plan (split level house)
Need more sitting options as we have friends visit often, the back wall seems empty.
Any thoughts on what sitting options would match my existing furniture (I'd like to keep all with the exception of our entertainment center). What other pieces should I get to make the space warm and inviting?

A: I love your window, btw. I would get two comfy chairs and move the chaise to a part of the room where it can come in at an angle. Good luck!
