> I don't give "perfects" - but Kim is darn close to it!    She zero'd  in on our tastes and preferences really quick and was able to manage my husband and my, somewhat difference tastes (and opinions).  She was very flexible with our schedules to meet with us, she figured out ways to keep costs down and did a LOT of foot work that I just didn't have time for.  HIGHLY recommend!

**Q: can you delete a master bath tub and keep value** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I want an awesome shower but the room is too small to have a large shower and a tub

A: Yes.  I agree with the other comments.  A house just needs to have one tub.  Many new construction homes we work on lack a tub in the master.  However, if the space allows for both, I still like both but if space is tight, a large shower would be my preference.

**Q: backsplash tile idea** *(in Design Dilemma)*

A: Penny,

The pattern has a definite repeat so you could create it with a good porcelain tile that has a variety of colors and sizes.  Although it would be labor intensive to install.  Another option would be to have a custom tile company like Fire Clay Tile ( https://www.fireclaytile.com ) create a pattern/color combination sheet for you.  Again, not inexpensive.

**Q: Help! Issue with crown molding over arch window in entry** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I stopped by my new house yesterday and they have put in all of the trim.  Unfortunately, the arched window above my front door is about an inch too close to the ceiling for the crown molding to go over it, so the trim guys came up with this awful solution.  I refuse to let them leave it like this, but I don't know what needs to be done to make this aesthetically pleasing.  Any ideas on how to make this look nice? :(

A: That definitely needs to be finished.  What about putting a casing the matches the opening below around the window and the have the crown moulding die into it?
