I love the concept but not sure if the functionality of it overall and would love some feedback. This is such a great looking space. Thank you in advance! A: Hi Tabatha, This is a beautiful open space from one of our all-time most popular ranch style plans -- The Charlotte II. Not to worry about the fireplace. It has a glass pane on either side and maintains the same efficiency as one of our high efficiency windows. Many of our customers have had this same concern; however, we do more than our share of research before installing anything in your home and wouldn't use a product/feature that is going to cost you extra in utilities. The fireplace in the photo is a model of Heat-n-Glo with no blower -- very quiet, and you will still feel heat on both sides. Perfect for enjoying your patio into the late fall.
