How well does it hold up in the southwest; is it difficult to repair? Life span? Thank you A: I also love the look and the unique shading it provides. I am not sure of the lifespan especially in the southwest where the sun is especially strong. The contracter bought it from The Willow Farm (https://www.thewillowfarm.com). I suggest you call them to fnd aout about longevity and fire resistance. With the threat of wild fires, I am now considering using some type of woven or perforated metal panels to avoid the fire issue.
